I think the NBA/GLeague has made concerted effort to have G games on off nights of the big teams. It’s always nice to have some basketball to look forward to.

Lakers had such an iconic arena – Staples Center. They were so stupid to give the naming rights to a company running Ponzi scheme. Just like Miami, they might soon lose that name and have to look for new partners for naming rights.
Good for Clippers, at least they are getting their own arena
when you have a loyal top 10 player of all time playing like an mvp and who just got fmvp last year, as a franchise you don’t be greedy and think about the future while trying to win now. you put all your chips in and back up that top 10 player and win as many as you can now.
and its not like we have paolo or wemby on our team right now that can justify us taking that two timeline risk.. we have 5 unproven rookies that gives -10 in +/- every game except moody
