Another loss. I bet on Pacers for some sort of win.

Siakam masks lot of our flaws. Can’t wait to have him back
Important game to show that we’re a good team.
If we’re last season’s team — a team that does OK, gets in the playoffs, but struggles any time Fred or Siakam goes down — we will lose this.
If we’re a new team, a team that is actual quality lead by a ROTY winner who’s gonna be a star, we should win.
We just need an offensive creator. The Pascal games show us that everything is unlocked the second one player is doubled. And when he’s out — or on the bench, in the playoffs — that needs to be Scottie.
No one else can do it. Fred is too short to create his own shot, and Nurse doesn’t run him around screens like Steph does (not sure FVV’s build could handle that anyway). OG is terrible in ISO, always has been, probably always will be (he’s great as a secondary play finisher, though). GTJ is unfortunately a shot-maker, not a shot-creator. Boucher and Precious get points purely off rebounds, they don’t create except when the defense isn’t set. Even our other role players can’t create. Porter, Koloko, Flynn, Banton — they’re all solid in many ways but none of them create against set defenses.
And only Scottie has the talents to develop it… He’s gotta start playing like the start of that third quarter all the time. It feels like he could. But that he’s afraid he’s gonna get injured. And who knows, he might. His body is a bit too big for his movements still.
My wishes for todays game: dowtin plays at least 10 minutes and Scottie has over 20 points and is attacking
