Funny he said that the kings aren’t going anywhere this year so probably not gonna talk about them much, but there’s a daily update about the lakers lol
I always find it funny that he calls Wiggins big and strong. Dude is barely 10 pounds heavier than Steph
The analysis here is top notch
This dude gives the best analysis on YouTube or TV I think.
If I’m the cavs I’d have Garland on the trade block
Your brother's baby shower? We're doomed as a society
This "pulling the plug" before someone gets hurt mentality needs to stop. These are professional athletes getting paid tens of millions of dollars to play ball, and theres millions of fans across the world along with all the Lakers season ticket holders that want to see them play. Noone is asking them to go die in a war or sth. They need to do their damn job and play. They are getting "load managed" anyway, what more do you want.
Steph is like 4th in MVP race
I never need to watch ESPN again. Your commentary is what sports analysis needs to be. Thanks man, keep it up!
Laker get Darvin ham to make RUSS work and better, not make Lebron and AD better.
Pelinka and darvin built this roster in mind HOW to make RUSS work and better, NOT to make Lebron and AD play effective. (no shooters)
Like Trevor lane said, this team is dependant to make STOP and transition. Russ is most effective when running and transition play.
Lebron and AD duo specialty is half court play. Total opposite to Thier strength.
Jason dressed like a baseball player 🤣
yes, lots of illegal screens that are not being called. it's not just the Warriors.
Finally you admit Curry is a better player than Giannis. Of course Warriors isn't as good as the Bucks right now, but remember they've won 8 outta the last 4 championship. This season will be no different.
Bro stop talking lakers 24/7, they are bad and everyone is worn out on the “I love and am obsessed with LeBron” talk, we want to hear about the rest of the league not one of the worst teams constantly because they are the Lakers and have LeBron
This same clown said Tatum was better then Curry… Celtics in 5 😂😂😂
Imagine having AD, LeBron, and Westbrook on the same team and saying "They don't have enough help" 🤣
Who else you want out there? The Mon-Stars?
garland for bron
BULLSHIT dearon isnt a midlevel point guard… hes averaging 26/6/5 on 55% from the field, as a PG looool
I am biased but I do think Steph is playing the best basketball in the league right now. That said I am ok with him not being in all the MVP talks yet because your team has to win IMO for you to be considered. A few MVPs in the past who were on fringe teams I felt didn't deserve it but hey what can you do.
I agree 100% with this take, if they win a few more and get into the top half of the west then you can't deny he is a front runner.
Fox is a "mid-level point guard." literally 2 minutes later Fox is "23/5/6 on 62%TS" (26/5/6 on 65% TS now after that game, good for 6th best among guards) okayy he's mid… yes he's a midrange god!
AD is a light breeze away from a season ending injury. He’s Mr Glass
Jason if I may suggest that your take would be more interesting if you start adding either short clips or still of plays to make us more educated about the plays. Thanks for all your hard work, Appreciate it.
I agree about the Lakers. And that's my team. Just blow it up and let's see what we can do with the picks.
It may a foul–that screen that Klay made on the Curry dagger3. Refs didn't see it tat way though. There' no point talking about it.
Maybe Mitchell is top 10 right now, but there’s no way I’m seeing him top 5. Giannis, Steph, Jokic, Embiid, Durant. There, he’s already bumped out, and there’s 20 other players that could legitimately take the next 5 spots.
Unrelated to my rant, liked the analysis about shooting from the top of the key. When you take that shot, your mindset should be the same as a free safety in football. “No one gets behind me, I’m the last line of defense”.
1) Warriors played better defense than usual
2) Kerr didn't go as deep into the bench as usual
3) I don't think these are unrelated
It looks like Kerr's temporary solution to the league's worst bench is to use it less and rely on the starters more. Short term you can do that but it's not a long term solution.
De'Aaron Fox a mid-level point guard??? 26, 5 and 6 on ridiculous efficiency? Cool as a cucumber in the clutch? Gimme a break with the disrespect
ACTUALLY… I watched that play like 10 times where Mitchell let Curry go. Mitchell takes the shot, comes up short. Steph is on an angle behind Mitchell, but puts his arm on Mitchell's body to let him know he's there. So Mitchell doesn't bother to look back and THEN Steph heads down the court and gets the easy lay up. Mitchell didn't just have a lapse, Steph messed up Mitchell's head on that play.
And people still have the audacity to say “sTePH isN’t cLuTcH”
The way klay had his hands up after the screen had me dead 😂
I know Westbrook has an army of devoted fans and they go unhinged when u say anything about him, so let me say it for you. He’s like a bull in a china shop. 💀
Man you just always find a way to blame Westbrook for everything don't you
I am loving this show and format Jason, you earned The Volume a sub. You’re my goto for NBA postgame commentary now. Cheers !
How bout we talk about the refs literally giving the caves 12 free throws that were absolute bs, the unsuccessful challenge might have been some of the worst bias/favoritism I’ve seen in the league in literally years
