Explain One Play: Steph Curry flat pick and roll fuels comeback vs Donovan Mitchell’s Cavs
by @EricApricot
The Golden State Warriors with four and a half minutes to go versus the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2022.11.11.CLE-GSW made a very impressive comeback, not just because of the deficit, but because fouls were called on the Warriors on practically every play down the stretch. They went repeatedly to a flat pick and roll with Stephen Curry and Kevon Looney and we’ll look at different versions of the play to show how the Cavs kept adjusting their defense and how the Warriors countered.
Co-starring Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins. With Jarrett Allen and Donovan Mitchell.

Not to be a Steph fan boy, but it does appear the officials rarely call his fouls, particularly when you take into consideration his superstar status. What is the reason for this?
Great video, first time watching one of your videos. Definitely subscribing. Good work!
High quality celebration analysis 😹
Watching the game live I thought there’s no way they win this game. It just seemed like every time they got momentum the refs would call something. Donovan rolls his ankle balls goes out of bounce, somehow that’s a foul. Kerr and dray get technicals for arguing about the play.
I love 💕 your celebration 🎊 evaluations! I believe Klay is still holding up his hands 🤲🏽 last time I checked lol 😂
What would I do without you bruh
so elegant, keep coming with videos.
Steph was talking to Luke Walton who was sanding up on that 3
My second favorite thing about a Dubs win is getting to watch E1P the next morning. Thanks for another great video Eric!
so, i busted out the new PJ pants on SAC game and Dubs prevail. Forgot about the "lucky" pants until after halftime vs Cavs and now they got a two-game win streak. btw watching all your vids and i don't ever remember Klay setting that screen (as you said he always always slips it) and so i was also very very shocked when he clocked him and also the ref didn't call it, the way they've been doing everything to gift the game to the Cavs. as always, really look forward to your vid after wins.
Let’s not be BIASED, was that a moving screen by KLAY? I want honest opinion
The fouls on the ws were somehow justified in a charitable way but the refs missed 7-8 fouls by the Cavs in the last 4 minutes. Refs were so stupidly biased
I think Steph was specifically looking at Luke Walton on the Cavs bench. You can see Luke stand up when Steph passes the ball out to Dray because he knows what's coming.
Haha now that's some funny shit. Klay knocked that brother out cold haha
Klay’s I didn’t do it hands made me laugh how long he held it up 😅…I was like it’s ok Klay you can put ur hands down the ref is not the police! 😂😂😂
You could make a case that one of the refs had money on the line off this game. Seriously sketchy calls.
Love Curry great vid
Mannnn 😂😂😂🤣🤣 you took me out with the Draydar lol but I swear he had it on last night cause he was dropping Dime's for sure…
Does Jared Allen get paid per fall? 😂😂
BOTOX FACE LOL
Bruh "Micro dosing the night night"?⚰️
Great review and analysis… I'm a subscriber. So-on board… 👌👍
One dimensional 😂
An obvious Lebron's legacy in Cleveland…..flopping.
The cherry on top of any Warrior victory. Well done!
Love these vidz!
thanks for the medical advice. in the future I shall remember to micro-dose my night-nights.
Lol draydar
that’s how entertaining Curry is, you can make a comedy show just from watching him do crazy ass plays with his teammates. Drayda was funny as fuckk 😂😂
Meanwhile Cavs fans in their subreddit had the nerve to complain that the refs were favoring the Warriors… 😂
great rebounding game for the dubs. Lamb boxing out during his minutes got me hyped!! We need our young guns to learn like him! Such an exciting season
Thanks for that Focaccia bread recipe 😂
Thank you for making these videos
Microdosing the nightnight.
Steph a baker now too? His resume keeps expanding. 🥖 🥐🫓👨🍳
Klay doing his.. I am the Great Cornholio!!
If Dray was setting that last screen instead of Klay… i feel the chances of a foul being called are much higher. Am i wrong?
Praise the YT algorithm – I discovered your channel today 🤓I've been waiting for a Kobe – Details level breakdown on the Warriors and I think your analysis is it. TY! 🐍
If the league is going to call moving screens, why don’t players just run into the screener and fall down intentionally?
Steph just wanted to show some respect to his former coach, Luke, but it's hard to find the time during a game and with only 1 minute left he had no choice but to throw one and turn to him while the ball is in the air.
The refs tried to f*ck us so hard last night. Almost took the enjoyment away for the win
can you go in like chronological order with the game, never understood why we start with the ending and ending with the the first play of the first quarter
The new taste sensation sweeping the nation: Chef Curry’s ‘In Yo Eyeball Focaccia Bread’. 😂😂
Very nice analysis and detailed explanation of those moves. This is really from the basketball stand point of view to let us enjoy more about the game. It will be even better if the voice raise a little bit " rough or sarcastic " lol …
Love this channel more and more with every new vid! Honest question – do other teams do things like this where they do X's and O's breakdowns on individual plays?
I think I've seen a Bucks Film room and Lakers Film Room channel, but not sure what else is out there.
