We got a little bit of a break these last few years when they bring in Christy Winter. Scott to do the games.
She’s funny, unlike Drew gooden who mostly laughs at his own jokes.
She’s focused on the game rather than telling stories.
When players make great plays. Christy exclaims her happiness with the play explains why it was possible. And unlike Drew gooden never talks about how much money the player is going to make ( who @NBCSW thinks this is a good idea?).
I’m not sure why anyone thinks true goodness attractive. I usually turn the sound off during the game if Drew is doing it.
I was a full season ticket holder from the year The Wizards came into DC but got rid of them the year before the pandemic started.
Every year the team sent me and still sends me a survey because I still go to games and somehow they know.
Every year I beg them to do two things.
1) Reduce the absolutely insane volume that goes on inside what is usually a half empty arena,and
2) please get rid of Drew Gooden who makes the broadcasts almost unlistenable.
