The cowboys at least draft well and Jerry has some decent people in his FO (especially McClay). Mark hired a shoe salesman with no GM experience in the Luka era, hired Kidd who has been ran out of his last two stops and wasn’t even in the league two years ago, and has made nonstop terrible moves the last decade losing Barnes, Brunson, and Curry for nothing

And I don’t think it’s just Dallas. I was trying to remember the last big name FA that signed to OKC, Spurs, Milwaukee, etc.

The problem is that there’s too few of us on here that remember the 90s era Mavs. Mark energized this franchise when he bought it. Forty year old Mark Cuban was nothing like anything the NBA had seen, and it was awesome. He was a fan that was an owner, and he’s still a fan that’s an owner–you cannot take that away from him.
I’m not in favor of overreacting and still believe we need to tap the brakes on hitting the panic button. However, this team looks discombobulated at times, and they don’t seem to be worth crap on defense at times either. I dunno. Sometimes things just don’t look right out there on the court.
