New mock trade has Sixers acquiring Jae Crowder from Suns in a deal
EDIT: Suns sub also says absolutely not. Heard a radio station discussing this for some reason yesterday.

My thoughts are that it’s a bad trade.
This somehow makes us worse. You trade some of the only guys on the roster who can dunk and replace them with a bunch of non-athletes.
Will the Suns also spit in Morey’s face and fuck his sister?

At this point, I feel like we have to wait to trade him until the off-season or next year when he is finally an expiring contract. Doubt a trade will help the team until then.
I came up with a similar trade and some Suns fans liked it when Ayton was playing like shit but I doubt the organization would do this. We’d probably try to keep Reed if we tried to make a deal like this too IMO. It is a good trade for roster flexibility after this season and could also potentially be good this year too. Crowder and Craig are better defenders than Tobi and fit next to our stars better in theory. They are actual 3&D players unlike Tobi who has been forced into that role when we are healthy. Saric could be a great backup 5 to pair with Reed at the 4 if he can get back to what he was in the Suns’ Finals run. Shamet is the only part of the deal that’s bad. His contract is long and I don’t think he’s very good, but he can shoot decently. Being able to acquire 3 potential playoff rotational pieces and gaining some cap flexibility would be a massive win IMO. Worst case scenario, we just get cap flexibility. It’s not like we are contending if we don’t do anything so it’s worth the risk. All that being said, I doubt the Suns would do this. Tobi fits their team better than ours, but they got multiple guys making $30+ million/year and adding Tobi without dropping one of them doesn’t make a lot of sense financially.
Im really not sure why you guys hate Tobias so much…. how many 4th options in the league are better than him?
