To be fair the team had already given up. But that was a fitting end to a disaster of a game.
Mavs shot 14 for 29 on free throws.
Pistons had 20 more rebounds.
Pistons were hitting a lot of shots. I’m willing to say some of that was just they had a good night, but at least some blame to the Mavs for poor defensive effort.
Luka put up great numbers (35 pts, 10 ast, 3stl) mostly because he had some hot streaks on threes and he did hit a big clutch three to help us get into OT (and started OT with a couple buckets, I thought we were gonna pull away) but definitely not one of his better games. The 2/6 FT is crazy. I can’t believe how much he struggles on free throws.
