I know the numbers don’t look as gaudy as before, but it’s mostly because JV is playing Kai in a system. Reducing his shots and making sure he takes them within the offense.
That way Kai even conserves more energy on the other end, and he still plays great clutch offense. Back to back 27 points games as well. Today he allowed Kevin to basically coast to whole game.
We’re gonna need him to show up against Celtics big time. They lost today so they’ll be hungry as well.

3 assists is crazy to me. His passing has been so good. He definitely has a ton of hockey assists with the swing swing action when he collapses the defense and kicks out. We’re almost moving the ball TOO well for him to get assist numbers lol.
Kyrie is also a gifted passer, which is why I’d get so frustrated when he’d settle for isos. His hand eye coordination and touch translates. I feel like he hits a ton of awkward angle bounce passes perfectly to open shooters.

Kyrie is a hall of famer even if he never played another game. He will always be a benefit to this team in the long run. Hes the most skilled player I’ve ever seen personally

He’s truly adjusting to the system. It’s doing wonders and you can really see how beautiful it is when it’s firing on all cylinders. This type of Kai is the best kind of Kai. JV has really done a lot to make this work so far

The real debate is whether he’s worth the hassle. If you’re debating if we’re a better team without him, then you’re an idiot, no offense. I do think he’s a good hearted, genuine guy. But he will always say some dumb shit. I can tolerate it, I think the majority of the fan base can tolerate it, I’m just not sure if Joe Tsai can. Because if he could we probably would’ve gave him an extension last offseason.
