Pitt vs. NC State: The Panthers shocked the Wolfpack by going on the road and defeating NC State, 68-60 in this ACC opener. While the first half was back-and-forth, Pittsburgh controlled the game the entire second half and led by as many as 12. Jamarius Burton set a new career-high with 24 points to lead Pitt. Burton also had four assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Blake Hinson added 13 points and eight rebounds. Terquavion Smith led NC State with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
