Yes we have issues, but holy shit the refs man. They just refuse to let anything go our way. Wonder how much they have riding on the game with inside bets

  2. natelee2184

What the Wolves look like with a Zero big lineup, lol.

  3. neopollo

On a positive note, I really enjoy listening to Grady’s play-by-play. Seems like Jim Pete enjoys him as well

  4. Thought we could’ve given Wendell some Moore run, like 16 minutes? I’m sure he could’ve offered more than Rivers.

Gobert fucked up by tripping that guy and getting ejected, he should know better than that by now. He’s 30 and one of our most important players. He would’ve been instrumental to keeping OKC out of the paint. Anytime we went to that Kyle at the 5 lineup, it was beyond easy for OKC.

Refs were enormous pussies, T’s being handed out every 5 minutes for the smallest things

  5. Refs were a joke tonight but the game was lost at the end of the 3rd playing typical dumb basketball with heat check shots and fancy passes for turnovers. Could’ve gone up double digits.

  6. PlayInChampions

There was a stretch from when we took +7 lead to the middle of 4th quarter when OKC scored 70% of their possessions, Finch called zero timeouts. I dont know how.

  7. Shai is that dude. Ant gets the hype but Shai is what we hope Ant becomes, Shai just doesn’t get the love because he’s on a bad team and a small market. If he was in LA he would be on ESPN every night.

Rudy effed up. You can’t trip a player like that. We need you man, cannot take yourself out of the game, we got two all-star bigs and one is already down, don’t take yourself out too. Be better Wednesday.

  8. Fiddlerontheroof5

That challenge was ridiculous, those techs were soft as shit but why is Ant not initiating the offense every possession for those last five minutes? We just saw him get pissed off by Brooks and take over, wouldn’t that be the perfect time to go to Ant after the bullshit charge and tech???

  9. youvebeengreggd

It’s a shame refs ruined a good game.

  10. ChanJosie

Not much positive in this effort.

Team started off checked out. They made it fun at times during the 2nd and 3rd to keep it interesting, but in the end no different from other games.

Open 3s for the opposing team remain an issue (Giddey’s shot looks horrendous, but I guess when you’re wide open…). As do turnovers (big time is an understatement). As does rebounding (we stink, whether Rudy is in there or not). And don’t forgot bad shot selection (DLo early, too many to mention in the 4th), and of course dumb fouls (Rudy and McDaniels).

This OKC team is not good, this was a really bad loss.

On the plus side, at least Finch called that timeout with 13 seconds left.

  11. FlyingScissor

This team isn’t going anywhere until Ant takes every team as serious as he does the Grizzlies. Wolves got lit the fuck up tonight by a trash offensive team. That’s not on the bigs that’s on the defense and that’s on Ant, he’s the franchise he needs to he better.

  12. Sugarking45

It’s sad the twolves were outplayed by the refs

  13. We played really well for the first 3 quarters but ultimately Rudy’s ejection, tough shot-making by OKC, and bad reffing did us in.

  14. Hot_Butterscotch_638

The P.A. guy after the game “get your tickets… Blah blah blah”

    Yeah no, I’m good.

  15. OGFN_Jack

Finch had so many opportunities late in the third/early 4th to slow the game down and build on our momentum and instead watched us make braindead play after braindead play and get into a transition battle against one of the youngest teams in the league. Pretty much every loss this year has his handprints over it in one way or another

  16. ChbbyKttns

At this point Wolves basketball just isn’t fun to watch. We had a really strong point during the game but ruined it with low iq and some bad reffing to multiply the effects.

Almost every game feels like a waste of my time.

  17. schakeboy

Defense is becoming historically bad last three games the opponent scoring over 130+ points in 3 of our last 4 games. We always have that on this ship might turn around with a good win against Memphis then we come out like this. We will be lucky to get over .500 unless we get smarter

  18. twinsguy1

Just tired of the inconsistent effort and focus. So predictable that they would come out looking awesome against “rival” Memphis and come out flat against OKC.

I love Ant, but this is his biggest problem right now. He just doesn’t bring a consistent effort night in and night out, especially on defense.

  19. I wouldve wanted to see Garza play. Kyle anderson is not a 5

  20. Romulox88

By my count this is our 6th bad loss of the season vs 4 good wins. We really can’t afford many more bad losses this season or we will really pay for it come April.

  21. djrty_puppy

Me: At least with KAT out I don’t have to worry about any stray voltage type plays that fuck us over

    Rudy Gobert: Hold my bière

  22. Able-Bodied-Virgin

I don’t blatantly blame refs for games, but this game felt like it was being called personally at the end. That challenge not being overturned, followed by a tech on Ant, then not calling anything on Shai as he walked to take the free throw….. things weren’t being called objectively.

  23. FearedByThyBeard

Man I love Nowell but he has gotta be the biggest black hole I’ve ever seen on a NBA court. Like my man’s thinks he’s steph curry and prime Lou Williams combined his court vision is so bad.

Idk if it’s finch’s play calling or the players aren’t listening to him but that 4th quarter had so many issues, not to mention the refs.

  24. AfricaByTotoWolff

Vando 16 pts on 4-4 from 3. Kessler 8 pts (4-4 from the floor), 7 reb, 2 blks.

Vando is 23, Kessler 21. This was such a terrible trade. Anything short of an NBA title and it was 100% not worth it.

  25. Ant:”It’s really hard to dunk when you got two bigs out there like we do.”

*KAT is injured, Gobert gets ejected*

    Ant: ***Zero Dunks***

    🙁

  26. SnooGuavas7291

Usually I’ll be upset at a Loss but this L I won’t blame them lol. We weren’t going to win regardless with those refs lol

  27. Yo-mamas-daddy

I don’t understand everybody saying this was a bad loss. The difference between us and them is one game, so if they’re not good then technically we’re not good.

  28. Sharcbait

Tech on everyone in this thread… handing out techs like they are Oprah.
