How the Timberwolves offense could not just survive, but thrive without Karl-Anthony Towns

The Minnesota Timberwolves may be able to not just survive, but possibly thrive while Karl-Anthony Towns is out. Ben Beecken (@bbeecken) breaks down what Chris Finch could do to emulate portions of what the Utah Jazz did with Rudy Gobert over the past few seasons, and how Towns may be able to fit right back in when he returns. Plus, why the Wolves’ quarter-pole record isn’t all bad, and a Wolves-Thunder preview.

  1. I don't think they need to go out of their way to get him involved, that's where a bunch of problems start. Let it come naturally. He's not a go to guy.

  2. If the wolves are just as good without towns, the next 4-6 weeks, you owe it to the rest of the team to consider what you can get for trading towns …

  3. I just think Rudy needs to stick to what we signed him for, we literally don’t need to make any forced offensive plays for him, just let it come naturally

  4. Agree. Towns isn't even close to a franchise player. Too soft and thinks too highly of himself. Not trying to hate on him it's just how it is. His on court antics are ridiculous. Can't forget the comments about ant either. He's desperate to be the leader but doesn't have the marbles.
