Both are about same size (questionable 6’11” without great wingspans, though Senguns is probably longer) and passing bigs with great post play but questionable defense. Sabonis is more physical in the post and makes it look more effortless while Sengun has a bigger bag of tricks and more finesse and uses both hands better. Both are bad at defense but in very different ways, Sabonis just sits there and watches while Sengun trys to contest almost every play which is a reason why he has slightly higher steal rate and over double block rate and also fouls a shit ton. I know it is summer league, but I don’t think Sabonis would ever look like [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83QBn2-2YOQ) on defense no matter who he played.
EDIT: I probably should have renamed the title. Of course everyone wants Jokic but instead why does everyone insist on comparing him to Jokic. It is like Deandre Ayton and Shaq/Joel Embiid/David Robinson etc. Just because they reach that don’t mean they are a failure.

No one gives a shit about Sabonis bc he played for the Pacers and currently the Kings. Two franchises that are about as relevant to the nba landscape as a Saginaw Mudcrabs of the Michigan Rec League.
Joker is relevant, mvp, and his team is a contender. So people would rather Sengun end up like him.
