Spurs are extremely likely to have a top five pick in a draft that looks likely to have a good half a dozen players who appear to have star potential. We own all of our pics moving forward, a rarity in the league right now, as well as a pic from Chicago in a couple of years that could end up being significantly better than anyone imagined given the state of that team, and three unprotected pics/pic swaps from an Atlanta team that while good, can’t seem to stay out of the spotlight when it comes to player drama the last couple of seasons. And a young roster whose timeline is still fresh enough that we can afford two or three seasons being absolutely dreadful and picking up top picks without morphing the timeline too much.
