Pelicans arent contenders, Zion and BI just dont work well together because both are guys that if they're not taking shots then they're useless, Zion is better defensively this year but when CJ, BI and Zion are starters then wheres the defense coming from?
We need a turner type center. I hope we could somehow get WCJ or Bam but i highly doubt it. Rim protection is our only true weakness but Zion help D been good we just gotta hope the perimeter D holds up but I'm tired of JV

I doubt the Pelicans are better than a healthy Denver team. The Nuggets didn't have MP3, and Murray had a bad game….granted McCollum did also.
Jokic is starting to score more, and he and Curry have the highest effective field goal percentage of all players scoring 20 points or more.

Herb is a funny name
CJ's contract isn't looking so great. That's one of my only complaints right now as a Pelicans fan. I'd like to move on from him and Jonas. The team is going to get very expensive, very fast, and neither of those guys are great fits from an age or skillset perspective. Moving on from them would free up a ton of money to pay some of these young guys down the road.

You're tipping a hand that would suggest you didn't really start watching Pelicans games until recently with the Myles Turner take. It's been suggested for over 4 years at this point. Turner is not the rebounder nor the screener the Pelicans require, and on top of being 3.5 M more this year, he's also an expiring who has indicated more than a willingness to go to the Lakers, as opposed to JV who has another season at 14 M.
I don’t like the idea of myles turner for the pels. Yes he can stretch the floor (nowhere near as good as ppl say), and shot block… but his rebounding is pretty bad, and he’s even worse on the perimeter than JV. Come play off we’d get Gobert issues where 5 outs will just take him out the paint, and nance will have to play all the minutes.

Pels have so much young talent that hasn't even budded yet. Unless they can get a young center from a trade I wouldn't move Jonas. Jaxson Hayed is still there I would still try to develop him or draft another center. CJ & Jonas are old but still effective I wouldn't move them yet at all unless I'm getting young talented guys

Geographically the New Orleans should be a Eastern Conference team and the Grizzlies. That being said I think they should try to get Kyrie throw that 1st pick swap from the Lakers and Dyson and CJ. That's a title team.
Noone talking about the Pelicans because they're a relatively smaller market.

Listen, I don't want to hear anymore of this foolishness about trading away any starters or productive reserve players! The Pelicans are the No. 2 team in the Western Conference! Who would be stupid enough to mess with crucial players and risk the team chemistry when they are winning and doing good! If they need a rim protector, they either need to develop Jaxson Hayes into one or trade him to acquire one! If they need a bigger two way guard, they can use Kira to try to trade for one! The Pels can easily improve their team by enhancing their reserves w/o messing with their core! Some of you people obviously would monkey a good thing up with some really dumb, silly moves!!!!
