Luka is a usage player and his usage adversely effects his teammates performance and that’s just the offense… he’s ridiculous terrible on defensive

It was obvious before the season began that the Mavs’ ceiling is a first round exit. They have no depth and they look lost when Luka is on the bench. Clearly just him isn’t enough to beat good teams anymore
James harden showed us you can’t win with that play style . Luka has to play off the ball for some offense .

Mavs roster is just poorly constructed. If I were the GM I will try to get Clarkson and either Vanderbilt or Olynyk from Utah. Try to get sadiq bey from pistons and collins from the Hawks. They should just put everyone except Luka available to trade along with their picks. Mavs aren't really good at drafting anyway. They only luck out on a generational talent once every 2 decades.
I think the SGA take isnt a hot take. You can make a chase for SGA against any other elite Guard. Booker, Morant, Mitchell… does anyone think those teams would be worse if SGA was on the roster instead of those guys? Or that the Thunder would be better with those players instead of SGA? I dont…
Regarding Mavericks. This may sound crazy, but over reliant on Luka is a double edged sword. Luka is a special player, it is a given that plays are run through him because he is efficient and he makes all the incredible plays, however on the other side of the coin, the team will be less functional/creative. To some point where having Luka doing less is going to benefit the team more. I strongly believe that the role players, like Dinwiddie, Hardaway and others, can contribute more if a system is designed more to be less Luka centric and more flow within each play. Trading is the easiest way out but it may not be the answer.
Either way this is just my opinion. I am no hardcore basketball fan, so take it for what it's worth
The mavs needs another play maker but the only way this ll work it is if luka learn how to play off the ball, he is very bad off the ball at this point

I just dont see how Dallas can make significant improvements, loosing Brunson for nothing was Dumb, nba stars free agents dont seem to queueing to play with Luka. Tough spot
This take on "Mavericks let Brunson walk" is super annoying – there's no proof for that and there's even some implicit evidence that Brunson wanted out himself (well in tandem with his dad).

Every time I watch the mavs try to create offense without Luka, I'm disgusted. They are so freaking bad without him dominating everything. He needs help.
