excellent tank job that last 30 seconds, really impressive stuff. Pretty much every decision made was wrong

edit: Per WUJ in the post game interview, Corey was told to rotate and force the ball out of Kawhi’s hands but the rest of the team didn’t rotate to Batum in time. He also stated the play call at the end was for KP to get the ball in the paint and go for a quick 2

  2. Polani_almoni

If I didn’t know any better, I would say WUJ is tanking, he can’t be that bad as a head coach on purpose, can he?

  3. 4th came around and everyone ran out of energy. turns out playing with 8-9 players in back to back games fuckin sucks

  4. lukebwalls

You could see how frustrated deni was with the play calling. Leaving the wide open 3 was the beginning of the end. Thought we might actually sneak a win tonight, but it’s business as usual.

  5. The worst part about these injuries is that the team has built-in excuses for themselves. Especially Ted, the delusional one.

  6. apkm1234

WUJ isn’t an NBA level coach just yet. Maybe he’ll become one sooner or later, but he ain’t one now. Usually (not always) bad clutch decisions on plays are on him.

  7. Small-Ad-2600

double teaming a 5-13 kawhi to leave a wide open shooter who hit three 3’s already in that quarter? then taking a heavily contested 30 footer with an all nba defender in your face out of a timeout? unserious ass basketball team.

  8. applejacks097

Beal didn’t have to force that shot at the end..Wait…

  9. romantheworld7

Welp. Hopefully we can turn things around when Brad and Rui are back regularly. Hopefully

  10. Trade KP Kuz and Beal. Let the tanking commence.

  11. chunkychong01

The tank is back on. The “big three” will want to bail out of here soon, the tank will only get stronger.

  12. KP + Kuz and a bunch of random guys like Dotson and Goody is not gonna beat a team with 3 hall of famers and folks who have won championships. These 4th quarters will always look rough because by then those two guys are tired AF. Deni Avdija and Corey Kispert aren’t going to outplay a deep team like the Clippers who have battle tested guys who have been in the playoffs past PG/Kawhi.

I don’t care about wins and losses at this point. Jordan Goodwin has officially arrived. I’m watching the rest of the season to see his development.

  14. RushPrime

Vintage Wizards basketball lmao. Not a bad game very entertaining though. I’m not sure why WUJ had Kispert double Kawhi when Deni clamped him all game. That literally made zero sense and practically sealed the deal.

  15. drmbrthr

Would like to know if Kispert went rogue on that double team or if that was WUJ’s game plan on that possession.

How do you give up a 13pt lead without calling a single timeout?? Unacceptable. I know we’re short handed but still.

That step back 3 attempt by KP towards the end was a terrible look. Still haven’t seen us run a good play in late game situation.

  16. TheHeftymanzell

Please sell high at deadline, only responsible decision at this point

  17. Joshottas

This Wizards team sucks, man. So disjointed. Happy Wall got the W in his return. Wish things ended amicably. Not even mentioning him on the postgame show lol.

  18. SimpatheticNS

Those last few shots by the wiz were just garbage

  19. manifested0

For 47 minutes the energy in the arena was hype. Totally #SoWizards ending

  20. No-Adhesiveness-1740

Things that stood out to me are how bad of a coach WUJ is, and how much of a liability Kispert is on D. Even when he’s hitting shots he’s a liability out there, but when he plays 43 minutes and scores 7 points on 3-11 then he’s just a straight up hinderence to the team

  21. nofuture_at_all

I just remember that all of John Wall’s former teammates here were gone except Beal.

  22. we dont have enough talent and wuj is terrible so loss was expected.

  23. LilFingies45

Jesus Christ. 6 in a row now? 1-9 in our last 10. LMAO. I have an image that I think has great meme potential here (ugh can’t believe I said that), but it only makes sense if we win. Will have been at least 2-week wait to post it. Course that’s assuming we ever win a damn game again.

  24. ImprobablePlanet

I finally resigned myself to them losing when they were up double digits so I was actually able to enjoy the game most of which was pretty good up till the end.

Goodwin is the only interesting thing going on for me now.

But, man, if Kuzma could just tweak his game, somehow be more consistent and play within himself, he really could be an all star. He just gets too wild too often.
