Kuminga is not only playing better offensively and defensively, but he’s angrier and confident. He’s going to be a superstar. He got tired of being out of the rotation.

Kuminga made some rookie mistakes but his other positives were huge. Great defense and some hard drives in the paint including a finish over Tatum on a post up

  2. Vallerie_09

Loving his growth..he legit took Tatum 1v1 on the post, got fouled(no call) and then dunked on him

  3. PrinceKagan

That’s why i was willing to wait more for the 2nd timeline
    The benefits are huge
We got ourselves a kid who can hold himself vs tatum that’s not something you get on a trade

  4. Oh_no_bros

Ain’t going to be a superstar till he learns how to shoot well but man past couple of games something has clicked and he is making opponents RESPECT him both ways.

  5. Saturday514

Wiseman looks like hes starting to get it also.

I am a big JK fan. I hope he shines as brightly as humanly possible.

Kerr’s tough love strategy might actually work 🤔🤔

At one point tonight he brought the ball up the floor and called klay over for a screen handoff all on his own. Klay missed but it was a good look and a good screen and all organically.

  9. Dynasty_30

When he posterized Tatum I knew he was going to be a superstar. He has the mentality of a superstar

Two fckin timelines LFG!!! You want core 3 surrounded by a revolving door of old guys on vet mins or you want hyperathletic hungry young guys swarming while Steph and Klay drop 3s?!? They didn’t even have one of their best young guys 2way Wiggs and still got it done!!!

Kuminga is bursting with potential. I wish Wiseman could catch his fire.

  12. Few_Acanthocephala30

Kuminga said he ain’t going back to no DNPs, JK here to play

  13. shakeANDbake653

He forced Kerrs hand to make him play. Dude is being so patient, when guys are cutting and he’s a menace defensively. Sometimes I see him bite a fake and the defender gets a step and he somehow catches up to contest. Unreal athleticism.

Really wish Klay lobbed it to Kuminga on the fast break instead of stop and shoot a 3. Would absolutely blown the roof off of chase center.

How I wish JK could impart his ‘setting screens’ knowledge to Wiseman.. JK set damn good screens man. Leads to JP’s basket on a couple of possessions.

  15. Bay_Burner

His benching early in the season almost reminded me the way Vernon Davis and Mike Singleterry.

Good for JK to respond this way and play the right way with this team.

  16. VitricTyro

It’s honestly been really encouraging to watch him play. He seems much more disciplined offensively, looking for the open man and moving off the ball. On defense he’s been putting in great effort. Love the growth and if he continues he will absolutely be in the playoff rotation.

Still don’t think he’s gonna reach Giannis or Steph levels of good, but he’s definitely gonna reach Embiid or Jokic levels of good at some point

  18. Dude is a jump shot and handle away from stardom

  19. _meestir_

As my pops used to say: “a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor”

  20. AMS_GoGo

This guy could score so efficiently in the paint if he just rises straight up for some little jump push shots instead of always looking to dump it off when he gets in there.. can can leap out the gym from a stand still… just gotta learn to really use that!

    Insane potential

  21. rnbecker

The only thing I wish he did differently is not jump so easy. He gets faked out really easy

  22. primeyield

JK got the rare combo of speed and strength on D… a la young Dray.

  23. this_is_ely

Your daily reminder that we got this dude AND Wiggs for DLo from the Twolves. That franchise should just get relegated

  24. shadowlips

scary when he put on even more muscles in couple years time.. going to be an absolute unit

  25. AllInBig

Superstar is Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Giannis.

Stop throwing out that term like anyone with promise and athleticism can be a superstar.

  26. He dominates in the SL. Now the player I saw there is bringing it to the NBA. All he needs is floor time!

  27. Antdawg2400

He had a great game. Love how he getting aktive on mfs. His Energy was goin. He was bouta slap bruh but just laughed at him. Lol. He bounced off Griffin like a bumper car on that one play he left his feet. Lol plus I was today years old when I heard him talk for the first time. Surprisingly I was surprised. FUck me right ? Lol

  28. PotTwister

He’s developed into the system so well, at the beginning of the season I was worried but that probably is more on Kerr because anytime Kuminga made a mistake he’d get taken out of rotations and get spotty minutes. He had to play his role near perfect in order to stay out there and that was hard to critique since he’s not only young but he also became a shell of what he could do because of that.

Now he’s definitely solidified himself in the rotation and should consistently be seeing more minutes.
