Let's not forget what Fred VanVlett did a couple of years ago. He won us a championship. I think fatigue and injury is effecting his performance. He's playing close to 40 minutes a game. I blame Nick Nurse for the team slump, he is overworking the starters and not playing the bench enough.
What u don’t get is that FVV is toxic right now so yes we would be selling low but if u were to keep SB, he has to go! He is not an all-star, he is a TOKEN all-star bc Siakam was injured and the rest of the team was just role players. The Raptors are made up of two players, FVV and Siakam and the rest are there to simply support them and that’s exactly why we suck right now. FVV after his injury is washed!
Trading GTJ is all about economics but honestly do you want to pay FVV 30 mil a year for the next 5 yr rn? If not then we can afford to keep GTJ who is a superior SG to FVV as of now. One is getting better and the other is going down hill

No one outside of Masai, Bobby and a few others really knows what is going on in the Raptors front office especially Bleacher Report…these anonymous sources are just creating storylines in order to get hits on their articles. GTJ's scoring was expected to drop with the rise of Barnes, OG on the court. Everyone can't improve their scoring per game from last season. The shooting efficiency is worrying but it should self correct itself as the season progresses.
What about GTJ and FVV for Myle's Turner and Mathurin

Unless the plan is to trade GTJ for a better offensive creator, it makes no sense. He's easily the second best offensive creator behind Pascal. Barnes could be better than GTJ, but he needs to be more aggressive.
A lot of the issues they're dealing with rn is because of Nurse. He has hard to watch defensive schemes and you can tell he's very stubborn. Never thought we'd get a coach more stubborn than Casey.
Trent's body language is off. Maybe he doesn't want to be here and maybe why these stories are being leaked. If he is playing better, it is to increase his trade value if he wants to leave?

Ben. I like the Fred deal for Anthony, Bamba etc.. Anthony isn't a scrub. Fred's stock isn't high. That's a fair deal. It's an addition by subtraction. Fred does more bad than good on this team. The team that has never leaked news has had two leaks in a matter one week – first the players meeting and now the hard truth sit down of Barnes. This can't be good for team chemistry. Fred's got to go.

The Raptors are running Scottie barnes into the ground. He has suffered injuries and has not been given enough time to heal. Look at how he moves on the court. That's not the Scottie I have seen when healthy. He shows signs of discomfort after dunking or exerting force. He is not able to play his game. And on top of all this the disrespect he receives after all this. Give him a break. Don't break his spirit.
Trade Fred for Anthony and Bamba and Harris. Vanvleet needs to go ASAP. He’s becoming toxic and is becoming a big reason why Flynn and Banton aren’t giving any minutes.
To be honest I don't see a core with Siakam and FVV as a championship contender team. If I were the GM I will sell high on Siakam(I used to hate him but his is playing fantastic this season), trade FVV and GTJ for young coming players, then tank for Victor Wembanyama or high picks. Build around Scottie, OG and Victor(I really hope we have him).
The Raptors have all they are looking for from the bench in Fred; He is a ball-handler, a scorer and he plays defence. Gary can replace him in the starting lineup with his shooting, while Pascal and Scottie take care of the ball- handling in the starting unit.
Lol. FVV isn’t going anywhere. Too many 2k arm-chair GM’s in this thread. Fact is Raptors are a 1st round playoff series winner at best, and going 6 or 7 games deep into the 2nd round would be a highly successful season. That’s it. Be content with that, or else follow a different team.
Here we go again, more mistakes ! The first one was letting Yuta go, without giving him a real chance. Now if they let GTJ go – – will be their second mistake. They should let almost anyone or everyone go, but keep Gary TJ. For me, I do not agree on what the Raptors management team and coach's directions. I am a Canadian, and now I find myself loosing faith in the future of this team. Sad.
