If he’s trying to prove to the FO that they need to add depth, I’d prefer he just play the reserves and let them prove they’re not good rather than riding the starters into the ground

If I was a developing guy on this team and see Fred get this many mins playing like shit meanwhile im glued to the bench, I would lose confidence. Imagine working hard to do what the coach wants then you make one mistake and get stuck in the doghouse and Fred is out there allowed to chuck and still gets 40+ plus mins. Smh

Who else can we play, more than half of who would be our bench is injured. Some of you so badly want to see Flynn and Banton play 15 mins just to achieve the same result. When we had a bench Nurse played them and running an 8 or 9 man rotation has been a staple of NN schemes so idk what you expect really

I haven’t watched a lot of raps this season tbh but I can confidently say Fred should not be sniffing 40 minutes in a game with all the injuries he’s had the past couple seasons due to playing 40 minutes a game.
For better or for worse you’ve got find other places for those minutes or he’s going to get hurt or be absolutely fucking toast by April.

Coaches don’t have the power and authority over players you think they have. Do you remember when pascal got upset with nurse for benching him when he wasn’t playing well? If you read nurses book you will get a better idea of how it works behind the scenes.

Obviously we aren’t the worst team in the league when things are clicking, or we would have one of the worst records… but I have to say.. I’ve never strongly considering tanking for a shot at the #1 pick in recent memory until tonight. It’s not a good look at all right now, and we could line up a good 7+ first round picks for the next few years, and some young prospects, while hanging onto the young players we have now with major upside.
