    Positive this is a smokescreen or just agent putting the Mavs name to Shams. He’s literally a less dynamic C-Wood on $25m/year?

    EDIT: I don’t think this is a smokescreen, we’ve been linked with him for multiple seasons now.

    I still would rather have and resign Wood. He’s better. Not by a lot, but he is.

    If rick were the coach, I’d actually be interested in seeing the kind of developmental impact he can have on a player like Collins’ trajectory.

    But with Kidd at the helm, Collins will just be thrown to the wolves and on his own to turn into a more effective player. Not worth the assetts required unless hawks get desperate.

    The mavericks have shown interest in trading for a lot of guys. Doesn’t mean they can/will. Anyways one thing about how the front office operates is they control leaks. You don’t hear about a move before it’s done. Think KP trade last year zero rumors about it until it was completed

    Surprised you guys are so confident Wood is better than Collins. I certainly don’t think that. Wood may be more talented scorer but he is pretty lost on defense and disorganized on offense when he isn’t just forced the ball in the post

    Don’t matter who we trade for. Jason Kidd is still our coach. Clown doesn’t know anything about setting up plays
