John Lucas after win over Bucks: “They didn't play great. We played good.”

NOTE: Due to the death of his father, Paul Silas, Stephen Silas didn’t coach Sunday’s game versus the Bucks. Assistant Coach John Lucas assumed the lead coaching duties in the Rockets’ 97-92 home win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Postgame comments from John Lucas after the win over the Bucks.

Lucas mentions keys to the Rockets’ victory including Jabari Smith Jr’s defense; Jalen Green’s shot making; energy; etc.

However, Lucas also mentions areas for the Rockets to improve such as better conditioning; stop using youth as an excuse to not be professional; too much complaining to the refs; and more.

The Rockets are now 8-18 this season.

  1. šŸš€šŸš€šŸ¤˜šŸæI love how Lucas is brutally honest šŸ¤£šŸ¤£ " we can't gripe at every call we gotta get back" I hate when Al p and kpj do that!!

  2. Wise words from coach Lucas. Hopefully more consistency! Also, his disciple is what needed.
