Explain: Jonathan Kuminga dunks all over Jayson Tatum and the Celtics in Warriors Finals rematch win

by @EricApricot

The Warriors won the rematch of the Finals with the Celtics on 2022.12.11. In the fourth quarter, Jonathan Kuminga just dunked all over the Celtics and turned a 12 point game into a 17 point game, which helped the Warriors absorb Boston’s final run. We analyze the offensive and defensive plays, including a breakdown of good old Head Tap play which the Warriors run for Andrew Wiggins. Co-starring Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Donte DiVincenzo and Klay Thompson. With Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, Marcus Smart, Peyton Pritchard and Jaylen Brown.

  1. "I don't think Jonathan stepped out of bounds there but that was a close one…" Dude, if he had, don't you think the ref who was right there would have blown air from his mouth into that silver metal thing???

  2. You know the Dubs won when there’s a new post. Great win last night to make up for that Utah lost.

  3. Nice to see JK starting to put it together, and getting some well earned love. Enjoyed the over analysis of the post dunk revelry. You truly have to be a hardcore dub fan to spend your Saturday night analyzing and editing that footage. Strong work Eric!

  4. Warriors so many calls me it just seems like the referees hate the Warriors and want to do everything they can to make the lose games

  5. Its Kumingas maturity and decision making that has stood out to me. So much improved from last season and it will allow him to be in the rotation for the playoffs.

  6. @5:00 Divincenzo set the screen on the wrong side
@5:13 Poole should've recognized that he could alley-oop the pass to Kuminga for a dunk

  7. Hey I love your channel but the voice somewhat make me feel sleepy (no offense), please make it lively just like BBALLBREAKDOWN channel.

  8. the last game loss at UTAH had me triggered. Glad we won against an elite team, Transfer that for the road games please.

  9. Boston, sans Horford, sans Williams…light years from the team we faced last season, and earlier this year. Don't care if Wiggins was out, it's not comparable…the removal of two big men like that just opens everything up for us.

  10. Even though my primary joy as a Warriors fan from this series of clips is Kuminga, it is also a great illustration of how Tatum has emerged into one of the best all-around players in the sport with the defensive effort he puts in on the play… First to deny the screen, then to deny the post positioning, and then to hang with Kuminga through his moves… It's excellent. Kumninga's recent stretch of play has been so welcome to see considering the "two timelines" plan was looking so bleak a few weeks ago.

  11. JK was minus 3. Moody was plus. One gets the hype & the minutes. One is a better player almost every time on the court

  12. hey i was wondering if you could do videos like these for games that we lose as well, kuminga had a great night the other night against utah but we ended up losing in a heartbreaking way, but you can see the consistent improvement. love the vids!

  13. Before watching this I couldn't understand why I should spend over 8 minutes watching a breakdown of the Kuminga dunk on Tatum… but after watching I fully understand. This was surprisingly VERY entertaining! New sub!
