The fact that you have to argue until you're blue in face about LeBron while the rest of the world says Jordan is all you really need to know about the GOAT debate scoreboard. In the States, Jordan is definitely the most recognizable athlete. But globally he is practically worshipped as if he invented basketball. Career assists and Space Jam sequels aside, Jordan is the definition of greatness. Of course he's the greatest basketball player. It's a different level because of when it happened. Like The Beatles. Lots of music acts have sold more records since the 60s, but The Beatles are the champs.
I think the "Iron Man" trophy isnt bad. It's like who's really giving their all while helping the team.
They should give out a finals runner-up award & name it after Lebron. Consolation prize 👑
