Wasn’t really much of an NBA fan until 2015 when a friend convinced me to play 2K16 with him. Not knowing much about the teams, I just picked a team that I thought had the coolest logo. Ended up picking the Hawks and just shooting threes with Kyle Korver the whole game. Had so much fun playing though that every time I hung out with this friend, I’d use the Hawks. They quickly became my favorite team, and I started to support them IRL. Even though they never actually played on Christmas that year, I bought an official Adidas Christmas jersey to start my collection (turns out this is my rarest one). I’ve bought myself a single Jersey every year since, and I’ve tried to get a different player every time. Gonna be adding this year’s city edition soon!
