One of a few cool shots I got (in decent quality) from last night’s game!
Scoot can be frustrating sometimes, but he is so locked in defensively and can be so electric offensively. We gotta keep him here for years to come!

Dude is frustrating and this play is a microcosm of his issues for me. This is a bad play, and worse shot that just happens to go in. Otherwise this is a wasted possession. I feel like if you watch this clip and only look at the other players on the floor they’ve all just been trained to stand still and wait for him to take a tough contested shot. It’s just what he does, sometimes he comes up the floor and it like yup, I’m gonna shoot this bitch no matter what.
Sometimes it works, but mostly (including this play) it just leaves me frustrated.

It went in, but that’s still not an optimal shot, and the other guys weren ‘t using the distraction to rotate away from their defenders and present an open passing target. Matthews, for example, should have rotated towards the top of the arc the second the closest guy took his eyes off of him. KPJ would have had an easy pass to a wide-open 3 point attempt.
You see Matthews rotate towards the top of the arc after KPJ had already made his final move and turned to the basket to shoot.
Also, lol at Fernando stepping out to the 3 after the screen. Ain’t nobody gonna close out on you big boy.
