The New York Knicks defeated the Chicago Bulls, 128-120, in overtime. Julius Randle recorded 31 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists for the Knicks, while Jalen Brunson added 30 points and 7 assists in the victory. DeMar DeRozan tallied 32 points and 5 rebounds for the Bulls. The Knicks improve to 15-13, while the Bulls fall to 11-16.

Every time I see Randle play iso ball or dribble into double triple coverage I want to throw up. Can't wait for Knicks to trade him. Brunson is a beast, big heart. As salaries go, his is a bargain.

Bulls got out rebounded by 17 with Drummond only playing 12 minutes he’s one of the best rebounders of all time! Vuc is trash he wasn’t even trying to box out Mitchell Robinson or play any defense he gotta go and Billy need to be fired.
Why tf is Patrick Williams starting over Green?🤦🏽♂️. Green is more impactful in every area…..especially energy. Williams at most should be splitting time off the bench with Jones Jr.

Bulls defense is terrible. I'm from Chicago and they havent won one damn game yet. They're defense spacing is way off in the game, they're running trying to double and blowing games. Everytime the opponent shoots threes, they either jump out the way or guard from distance. I don't even watch them no more. Total dumpster garbage.
bulls are a complete 180 from last year, december they were the most clutch team and now we're losing narrowly in overtimes

Glad to see Grimes healthy and getting big minutes. Hes a huge factor in the 5 game streak. It coincided with a huge uptick on D and also coincided with him starting to get full starter minutes. That's no coincidence.

Don't get me wrong…this was a good win with a lot of positives, but I can't help but vent about the ongoing downright silly decisions by our coach. McBride played his normal excellent defense in the first half…then hit TWO big 3's…and our coach pulls him and doesn't put him back in for almost 2 full quarters. He always seems to do that. Once someone gets rolling he tends to take them out. And as much as Julius had a very good game, enough with the ISO plays at the end of regulation. MOVE THE BALL and get a good shot attempt! No more ISO low percentage fadeaway crap.
Other observations:
Love Brunson. Has skill and both physical and mental toughness.
RJ finally remembering how to play basketball.
Free Cam and D Rose (and Obi). They CAN contribute to the team's success! Cam, Grimes, and Deuce together on D would be a nightmare for opposing teams.
Play Sims as the primary back-up to Mitch. He's a beast who is getting better, and Hartenstein couldn't guard my grandfather.

Bulls need to blow it up. We are going no where with this team….even if Lonzo comes back. You cannot have your best 3 players be complete turnstiles on defense. Make trades and hand the keys to dalen terry and the Paw.

Great W, love how people overhate Randle. He changed his whole attitude and bought in and stopped acting like a punk, and he is producing . I always knew Brunson was Him. Smoke to that
