It's their direction of grooming so many young players and over confident that poole can do what curry does and overpay him so early that caused this. Let's be frank to our selves Poole doesn't deserve the huge pay rise and he is not Steph replacement. He can't make plays for the team or dribbling the ball to save his own ass making unnesssary turnovers .and because he can't lead the 2unit as per what maybe they perceived.the 1st unit got to increase their mins and responsibilities to cover their ass. Lastly being overconfident that wise man and jmg is the legit big men which warriors need but in the end it seems otherwise and insisting to play small ball where ur main core are getting older which drains which caused this happens. It's exactly what happened to 2019season where the 2nd unit is weak and had to drain away the 1st unit in order to achieve the playoffs thicket and championships. I
