This is crazy – The Nuggets hold the record for most consecutive 100+ point games with 136 games from January 1981 through December 1982.

That means they also hold the record for most consecutive 100+ point games in a season with 82…every single game that season.

Record for most combined points in the first quarter with 91 – Jazz over Nuggets (Jazz scored 50 in that quarter)

Nuggets have the record for FEWEST points in the first quarter by one team with…3. THREE points in the entire first quarter in a game in 2002.

The Nuggets are the only team in the league to have 2 players with 2000+ points in the same season TWICE, and they did it in back to back seasons – Kiki Vandeweghe and Alex English each had 2000+ points in the 1982-83 AND 1983-84 seasons.

The Nuggets were the highest scoring team of the entire 1980’s decade, and their point total in the 1980s (97,555) is the most of any team in ANY decade, and they are the only team to have over 96,000 points in a decade and are one of only two teams to have more than 95,000 points in any given decade. Nice stats but looks like Nugs lost 5 out of 6 games you listed. There’s something about playing defense that the team seems to historically disagree with.

    Maybe it’s the altitude?

I think we also scored 168 in a game against the Seattle SuperSonics when KD was a rookie.
