  1. 1. He had help, by the name of Jalen Brunson, but Luka fans said he was alone and that Brunson wasnt help and the team agreed with that, so he left 💀
    2. Heliocentric basketball is never going to win, doesnt matter if Luka has help if all his teammates can do is catch and shoot 3s

  2. Where was this energy at for Lebron early in his career with Cleveland? Instead y'all bashed him for making the Finals and losing lol 😂

  3. Disgusting. Media: “omg get our boy Luka some help!”

Also media: “How dare Lebron or KD or anybody else want to play with all stars!”

  4. Stop this narrative. Luka needs to alter his game, and play defense. He’s terrible off the ball and is a defensive liability every night. He’s the wh:te James Harden and all they expect is for him to pound the ball into the ground while every one else spots up at the 3pt line hoping to get a pass

  5. Luka needs helps Stephen A is 1000 right this is my team. We let Brunson get away for nothing now they are on the clock for Luka! They should try a trade for SGA

  6. Dallas is overpaying Dinwiddie (18 Million), Hardaway (19 Million), Bertans (16 million), Powell (11 Million), & Bullock (10 Million). They have no assets outside of Luka & Wood. They have no cap room to get a decent free agent. They got themselves screwed with bad trades & bad cap management.

  7. Truth is nobody important would want to be teammates with this ballhogger. He might go his whole career without another 2nd or 3rd team all Nba player. A few mediocre players, the media and hysterical fans are the ones still delusional about his future. Mark Cuban is going to have to offer a humongous contract to an elite player to even have them consider.

  8. Stephen a discredited himself when he said “hardaway..good”
Any true mavs fan know we need to get rid of this guy, only can inconsistently shoot free standing 3s. No handles, no driving, no creating for himself…Cya. Bench player at most

  9. If he was on literally any other team that’s in the top 12 he’d be a championship favorite. But HES the only reason they aren’t fighting for 15 wins. If he was less effective for wins, like Ja, Booker, SGA, Curry (when his other all stars were gone they lost enough to earn the second overall pick) etc he’d have been able to build way more savage roster around himself. Unfortunately for Dallas he caused wins too soon and porzingis didn’t work out so they’re strapped. But his 5yr deal just started so they have 4 years to find help. And Hardy/Green are finally looking good! Let’s see how they shape up. No one else on the roster would make a playoff rotation for any top 4 team. DFS is nice tho!

  10. Luka literally beats every stacked team out there , but it takes a toll out of you on back to back games travel games he just needs a consistent scorer with him , mavs I notice are a streaky team if they make there shots they beat everyone and has beat everyone but dam when the other guys don’t make shots ,plus the fact Luka getting guarded buy 5 guys at any given time is going to tire him out .. as per mvp he should of got it last year and this year anybody who doesn’t believe so is biased because if you-swap any superstar with Luka on the mavs pick anybody I guarantee mavs are 3-20 instead of 14-13.

  11. As long as Cuban has owned this team, Dallas has always been aggressive with surrounding themselves with the most talent. They have a generational talent in Luka. I do not see them making the best move(s) at the deadline. Luka has been there 4 seasons and the personnel has yet to impress.

  12. I don't see Luka's game fit in with another star. He more of an Iverson type

  13. A lot of their issues is with the coaching. If J Kidd keeps running questionable rotations and bad late games executions, then he gotta go

  14. The issue is Dallas hard committed to Luka and kind of stopped coaching him once they realized how great he was. This team has become the Luka show. They can't afford to bring a top talent to this roster, b/c no All Star is going to play on a squad where they get so few touches and almost no plays run for them. No player on the roster is going to be significantly developed from season-to-season, b/c they're not getting the ball anyway–so why improve your game. The fact that they couldn't make something out of Porzingis and couldn't keep Brunson shows that the writing is on the wall. This team will either get itself together or will eventually blow up, leading to someone in the head office being fired along with Jason Kidd as Luka leaves by either demanding a trade or as a free agent. A good head office and coaching staff would have gotten Luka help and have been working to reduce his usage by now.

It doesn't make sense to coach a team and have one guy handling the ball 90% of the time when he's on the floor. It reduces the efficiency of all your other assets (also ironically damaging their trade value, as they perform below their potential–so if they develop and leave, you won't even get good value in return for them), b/c whenever they get the ball, they're likely to make the wrong play and are less likely to play good defense, b/c they're not involved in the offense and they eventually start playing like guys that are just there for a check.

Think about it like this, let's say Luka passes you the ball b/c he had to pick up his dribble. You have 2 choices–(1) pass it back so he can continue to go to work, knowing you're likely not going to see the rock again, or (2) Make a quick, and potentially ill advised play to get yourself a bucket, likely also leading to a turnover and being sent to the bench. You're going to get a few #2's every night, b/c of players being frustrated. Also, come playoffs time, no one on the team will be ready mentally to win a 7 game series, b/c they've not been trusted by the coaching staff up to that point. Any other team will just force the rest of the team to beat them, instead of Luka. Also, they'll just wear him down by putting fresh legs on him whenever he hits the floor. Force most of your offensive plays to switch onto him to get him tired and off the floor. This team is broken.

Luka almost never plays off ball–at times he passes the ball and just lets his teammates run a play pretty much without him (kind of spacing the floor). Then on a future play when it's his turn, he runs the entire offense with the understanding that if he passes you the ball, you send it right back to him or you go straight up–do not swing it to a 3rd player. If Dallas were better coached, they would use Luka off ball more. Have him setting screens (on and off ball), have him helping guys get fake handoffs, etc. These are easy plays that would improve the efficiency of other players. They could then continue these plays when Luka is off the court.

The only reason I can think of as to why Dallas is so poorly coached is that Dallas isn't the largest of markets and they're choosing to die on the Luka hill, b/c they want him to become Dallas's Lebron/Kobe/Curry. It means more money b/c they could make him into a legend–at the cost of destroying their roster and championship hopes.
