    Didn’t Denver get the 2 second round picks? Also Green was a salary dump and signed for the veteran minimum after being bought out.

    Don't get me wrong. Watson got all the tools to be a great player, but Tarik Eason got all those tools,even more and are usable on a NBA level. heck he's alredy one of the best defenders on the league being able to switch and guard 1 to 4 while knocking down the 3PT consistently

    Denver is low key shedding salary. 1st rounds contracts are guaranteed. Hence the reason why they sent also a 1st rd pick.

    Alright it’s confirmed. This dude is falling off. Basically said the same thing over and over for 10 minutes just to get his monetisation. You hate to see it

    Two seconds and a first is WAY too much to pay for a LATE 1st round pick, IMO.
    Those picks could have also turned into players just as good.
    PLUS — IMO, drafting on potential only, without past production, is very dangerous.
    The Chicago Bulls have gotten burned drafting on great potential.
    Anyone remember Eddy Curry? Or Tony Snell? Or, Doug McDermott?
    There were many more.
    Any pick can develop into a great player. Look at Jimmy Butler at #30 pick. No one saw him becoming the beast he is.
    I think Denver's management was sniffing cocaine when they did this trade and pick.

    it’s like that coach who takes kids for their skinny ankles cuz he thinks it makes them athletic. there’s not evidence backing what they’re saying about this guy.

    Ucla made the Final 4 the year before and when Peyton Watson committed to them the following year they expected to get back to the final 4. Unfortunately things didn't panned out between UCLA and Peyton Watson
