I hate this outlook from Joe. Not all of our 3s were open, in fact a lot of them were bad shots. Just because it’s a semi good look, if you’re having an off night it’s not a good shot. Joe’s coaching style seems so much more like Brad’s which our players didn’t respond well to
What’s crazy is that the C’s where seconds away from a 0-3, possibly 0-4 road…that is absolutely atrocious as it only takes 4 stinkers in a series to go home and wait for another 320+ days like for the past 15 years.
I do worry he’s a bit too Don Nelson or Mike D’Antoni.
It’s actually pretty easy
If you’re wide open and your name is Marcus Smart you don’t shoot it. If it’s not then you can.
Over the past couple years it seems like our problem has been (other than Smart) NOT taking the shot when it’s available. So I’m with Joe on this one
far bigger problem would be passing up open looks
As a contender it’s getting noteworthy how bad we are playing the past few weeks. Could have been 4 straight blowout losses if it wasn’t for that miracle comeback in LA. Losing to the magic so convincingly at home like they did is just incredible. This team still needs to get a lot better if we want a chance at a championship
When you’re out rebounded this bad the shooting doesn’t matter
