Booooo. That’s all I have to say
We (the Knicks) played almost the entire season last year without a point guard, so I get it when you say the Bulls really need one BAD. I only hope Chicago doesn't hold a fire sale breaking up the squad before getting a chance to see them with a true point on the court running the show for a full season. I don't care who's on your roster, no team "hero-ball"s their way to the top, taking turns trying to take defenders off the dribble beginning somewhere outside the arc. Even with a "Big Three" not nearly as impressive (on paper, certainly) as Lavine, Derozan, and Vuc, the addition of Brunson has worked wonders for Julius Randle and RJ Barrett's games this year. I wouldn't bail on the roster until you can either get Lonzo back (and healthy full time) or install at least a somewhat competent PG and find out how far this roster can go (am I mistaken, or was the team significantly better with Ball last year?) Take it from me, though, acquiring one is a lot easier said than done.
