The Chicago Bulls finally need to BLOW. IT. UP.

This is not what we want to do – but we need to.

We will not pay Vuc to be part of this squad. We shouldn’t pay DeRozan – since we already doubled down on LaVine.

Some Ballclubs are still high on DeRozan. Some maybe are ready to buy into Vucevic as a Nr 2 option and are willing to give up something still. Rob those banks.

White must go too. Just another streaky guard who is way to inconsistent and doesn’t show he has that dog in him. He is a shot for point guy with no defense and underwhelming playmaking.

Extend Ayo and Green. Easy decision. Keep Caruso, Ball and (only if there is no crazy offer for) LaVine.

I would love to get something like: AD and Bryant and some contract they wanna clear from LAL for DeRozan and Vucevic plus whatever our roster can give up on role players and 2nd rounders. Disclaimer: I didn’t check any numbers here but: work it out with a sign and trade and/or a third team who we can offer an additional 2nd round pick for compensation since we bust 8 of 10 draftpicks anyway. And I don’t need ne “AD is done, his injuries” I know those comments and I couldn’t care less. He is the best man on both ends if healthy.

Bench LaVine with his knee for the rest of the season if he stays, give AD a red shirt til off season too. Send him to all the doctors and gurus he needs wants to go.

Even before the news broke that Lonzo was ruled out now a couple of days ago, I was already making those scenarios in my head with him just sitting out if we blow it up.

And I don’t know why Billy Ds Contract was renewed so reactionary. He needs to be gone. His coaching is horrendous.

Plus: we tank this year now. We are in an awful spot anyway. It’s not a nice decision but we need to.

While a tut play Ayo, Terry, Williams as much as possible without winning too much. Give Tony Bradley max minutes, let Dragic have some big goodbye minutes. And I feel like you can trade Drummond (like the dude now) and Jones. For whatever you get. Seriously. Bad contracts. In sign and trades.

Make some space for the Summer. I want to have one of the worst records to get into the bottom 4 in the draft and keep the pick. This must be the number 1 object.

Take bad contracts, sit your banged up Stars, make cap for the summer, get the highest possible pick (Wembanyama-Sweepstakes). But please stop this dysfunctional group.

In a perfect world then yes, just trade and rebuild. Its not really that easy though.

We have a reputation and culture to worry about as well, which means that you cant just fire or trade everyone as soon as we dont have clear path to a title.

Future players, coach prospects or front office prospects, they wont look at our team the same way fans does.

A coach prospect thinking about moving his family to Chicago wont look at our team and think “LOL they extended Billy what a trash franchise”.

We show players and coaches now that if you sign with us, we will ride with you and try to figure it out. Which is a very valuable thing as well.

I think we are stuck with this core and some retooling, until we are in a better position to make something happen.

When teams go through something like we are the first thing that happens is a coaching change. It’s painfully obvious that Billy has lost the team.

Since AKME jumped the gun extending him, I’m not sure what there is to do now, but moving on from Donovan is the obvious first step. If we are unwilling to do that then we are just dead in the water. This team won’t get better with Donovan as the head coach.

He’s stubborn and unimaginative and will always put in these small lineups that blows our leads and ultimately plays us out of the game. He does it every game and the results are always the same. He is one of the worst coaches I’ve ever had the misfortune of watching. It’s mind blowing and depressing that it looks like we are stuck with his sorry ass for a long time now.

I guess I don’t understand how so many people want to blow it up to rebuild. We just got out of that and it didn’t go well. Even while trying to lose to get a high draft picks we were stuck with the 7th pick three years in a row. Being bad doesn’t guarantee the 1st pick or even a top 3 pick anymore.

I think the FO needs to do something but starting from scratch when we still owe two first round picks to other teams in the next 3 drafts doesn’t seem like it.
