I’m just kidding but how would you feel about this roster?

Get rid of đŸ§± and you might have a playoff team

  2. Danny_III

Big lack of defense from the role players in the closing lineup

  3. Throwaways1247

Good 6 seed ish team. Still loses in the playoffs to the Suns Grizzlies Pelicans Warriors Clippers

Still need more to seriously compete

  4. Musicfan637

I think Demar is a nice fit. He wants to be in LA. He plays the three. He loves to score.

  5. Musicfan637

Russ would be nice in Chicago or anywhere else.

  6. TheLivest1

    Still no shooters.

Having 1 good 3pt shooter on a team is not a winning recipe going into 2023.

  7. Freeeecurry

Why just kidding? This is the optimal roster for the rest of the year.

  8. motorboat_mcgee

We won’t have the cap space for that team

  9. Not my preferred move overall but better I guess.

I don’t hate the concept of getting Reddish, Fournier, and a 1st from the Knicks.

Fournier was playing fine until he lost all his minutes in November

(That’ll send out Bev, Nunn, and Jones)

Sign Huff to have another big just in case. (Or sign Cousins; either way. They’re just insurance) also bring up LJ Figeruoa for a non guaranteed.

    PG: Reaves/Westbrook/Shroeder
    SG: Walker/Fournier/Christie
    SF: Reddish/Brown/LJ.
    PF: Lebron/Gabriel/JTA.
    C: AD/Bryant/Huff.

Then you have more picks to play around with a Westbrook trade if a sweet deal in the meantime. Vastly improved size and balance. Should be better shooting. Still a work in progress but builds on what the team was already doing well.

I used to think if you let a random user on this sub be GM they’d do a better job than Rob but after listening to half of yall advocate for Cam Reddish and the other half push for DeRozan I’m starting to question that

The perimeter defense falls off a cliff without Pat Bev.

Bev, Nunn, Jones —> Reddish, Fournier

    Russ —> Hield, Turner

    Lineup

    PG: Schroeder, Reeves

    SG: Hield, Fournier, Walker

    SF: LBJ, Reddish, Brown

    PF: AD, Gabriel, JTA

    C: Turner, Bryant

  13. A lot lot better. I’m assuming it’d be Jones/Bev and Nunn being sent out.

I’d have Gabriel in the 10 man rotation over TBJ though

And I would take a flier on Kris Dunn to give us a good POA defender that can switch 1-3. Then give H.Whiteside a 10-day to give us a passable rim protector for when AD sits. He shores up our rebounding too.

    PG Dennis/WB/Dunn

    SG Lonnie/AR/Max

    SF LBJ/Cam/TBJ

    PF Bojan/Gabriel/JTA

    C AD/TB/Whiteside

Unrelated but it’s mildly bugging me that they photoshopped a 44 jersey even though Jerry West’s number is retired

  15. DirtyArmChair

I feel like it wouldn’t change a damn thing
