>13-17 record, losers of 5 straight
-The team looks broken
-No realistic path to contention
-Only 3.5 back from the bottom 4
-Veterans they could get a haul for
-Young talent to build with, making it more of a retool and not a long rebuild
Have to wonder what a team would offer for Pascal Siakam if the Raptors try for a big trade to shake up the roster and go for a tank type of season. Thy aren’t as good as thought, which is very bad.
The Raptors are in Blow It Up territory

Damn Orlando just ruining teams left and right. The Bulls, the Raptors, the Celtics.
I don’t think so but what do I know
KOC is in blow it up territory
these guys constantly want teams to blow it up so they have something to write about
i mean they dont really have young talents to work with outside of barnes tbh
They’ll be fine. Just a slight bump in the road. No need to worry
We started 14-17 last season so I wouldn’t count us out yet
For personal reasons, I’m enjoying the Raptors having a shitty season
As a Raps fan, I wouldn’t mind a blow up. This team just isn’t exciting to watch.
I been on the blow up territory since the off season, this team has upcoming salary cap issues and I don’t believe a pascal and Fred duo is leading you to a championship anytime soon, sell high on these guys and maybe you keep OG and Trent as they fit the core, sell high on pascal and move Fred to a team desperate to make a win now move. I wouldn’t move pascal for picks tho, imo they need a haliburton type move, a young player who has shown flashes of all star potential, maybe Simons fits it if Portland doesn’t believe in the dame/simons backcourt or maybe it’s someone else
holy overreaction lmao
Zach Lowe said a while back when they looked okay a lot of teams were eyeing the Raptors in case things went south. It seems like we’re at that point now.
KOC is in huge dork territory
I’m ready for the Scottie and Wemby era 🔥
I just want someone to blow it up for the entertainment
oh no you’ve done it
Kevin O’Blowitup. Teams might as well not even try to make the playoffs if they aren’t title contenders. Reduce the postseason to 4 teams from each conference. Kevin O’Donteventry
Really hard to see them getting so bad that they could compete for a high lottery pick. They’d have to trade most of their starters and shut down Scottie/whoever is left. They’re too scrappy and they’ll win enough to stay middle of the pack.
I don’t understand fans obsession with blowing it up or tanking. Nothing is guaranteed. We have the reigning rookie of the year, multiple All NBA player, all star last year, and what a lot consider one of the best defenders in the league and yet 30 games in we have to bail.
I’m not saying things don’t need to change. Something needs to happen and they need to figure out the trajectory for this team but these constant posts and complaints about blowing up are ridiculous. Never forget that we had the entire city BEGGING to tank for Wiggins and that would have been a disaster.
Welcome to the club brothers, would you guys like some snacks, refreshments, or a pit of fire to jump in?
In retrospect perhaps moving Barnes for KD was the right move…
Wemby looking good in a raptors uni 👀
We at least have a lot of very wanted players. Would lakers give up their pick for a Gary Trent Jr? Very enticing offers could be made from a lot of teams in contention
The way most of the league is covered they act like every team is one 5 game losing streak away from blowing it up.
I hate the nba because a team will lose five games straight and suddenly it’s blow up territory. Half the teams make the playoffs, they’ll be fine.
How shocking, KOC wants a team blown up.
It took us 50 games last year to get to .500 and stay above it
KOC has no reputation on nba news and rumors
What do we really think the ceiling is for this core of Raptors players? In the next few years, if they keep this core, what East teams are they getting past? I don’t see them being better than Boston or Milwaukee, and at least short term I don’t see them getting past Brooklyn. I think the Cavs are better both now and in the future. Miami’s probably still better than them when comparing peak vs peak, same with Philly. At best they’re what, a second round exit? More likely a first round exit or even potentially a play-in team?
Five years down the line, are we confident this core is better than some of the other younger cores that are currently worse than them? Five years from now would you rather have Pascal, Scottie and OG over Paolo, Franz, and Wendell? Over Cade, Ivey, and Duren? I’m confident there’s multiple teams in the Eastern Conference alone with a better future 5 years down the line.
At some point you have to weigh your current performance with future performance/position. Raptors are a good team now despite their record. They have quality players. Do you keep riding guys like Pascal, FVV, etc., continue to be an early exit team in the playoffs and bank on Scottie becoming a future #1 option (or a big FA wanting to come to Toronto), or do you cash in on your assets now for draft capital/young prospects and try to set yourself up to be in a better spot 5 years from now? Hell, do you wait until the trade deadline and try and cash in some of those assets for a disgruntled star like they did Kawhi? Honestly not sure which camp I’m in for the Raptors, but it’s a fun discussion to have regardless.
Lol kev o with another say nothing piece
KOC is the Michael Bay of the NBA
I hate watching Fred play
