For those that want to trade Grayson, I just want to point out he still at the top of the defensive rating board after almost 30 games

Not saying this is be all end all but it’s something to consider

No fucking need for jae. Our liability right now ball handling/play making. People that can get their own bucket without help. Jae doesn’t help that at all

  2. He’s also been leading the defensive setup in transition **often** when Jrue is off the court.

You can see how much he’s improved over the last year and his $8m contract is a steal.

  3. This is why these statistics have to be valued with a grain of salt because if you have watched the games you’ll know opposing coaches have been hunting for Grayson match ups. Posting up Allen or attempting to get switches on him. Now in the regular season it doesn’t really matter and of course as a coach wouldn’t you rather attack Allen vs Giannis, Jrue, Brooke, or Jevon? Well duh yes. Yet this has been my point with arguing or debating with Bucks fans about trading him for a defensive wing/forward. After watching last year’s series against Boston it is very evident that in the playoffs when we’re trying to win a championship Allen cannot be on the floor for defensive deficiencies. Now does all of this mean that Grayson Allen is a insignificant player or that he he hasn’t improved this year no. I’m just saying I laugh that fans say oh we wouldn’t trade for defensive wing because it would mean we would have to give up a shooter.. it’s like did we not just watch how we won a championship. We were able to win a championship because we had three players that could go ISO and get us buckets but more importantly we had a small switchable 4 (PJ Tucker) that let us play Giannis at the five for the last 5 minutes of ball games. If you’re saying to me that we can get another PJ type player that allows us to play like this but you won’t do it because we have to trade Grayson Allen… That is ridiculous.
