The young players don't get a chance to grow playing under Demar. Demar is great but he is holding our young players back
You're basically playing with Shooting Guards DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, Ayo Dosunmuand, Javonte Green and Coby White. There are not enough basketball balls to go around, Ayo Dosunmuand will be a good player when he leaves….
Playing PWill at point forward is another good option?
You CANT fix this as long as BD is the coach he is clueless think he has lost the locker room. When he was asked by the press corps tough questions like how come no energy or desire BD response was you will have to ask them WTF your the head coach. He has Simonivic and Terry in the G league WHY. He refuses to bench anybody regardless of how badly they play. Can you imagine how Tibbs would have handled that three games ago not just last night. He would have benched EVERYONE regardless of who they were and said your ass is on the bench til you play D End of Story.
The schedule doesn’t matter. This team will lose to anyone any given night.

Point guard play has been our biggest pain point. We have no stable hand when we need the offense to move…we get to iso. Not enough 3 point shots? Zo did 43% on 7+ attempts per game. Cooked by P&R? Hey, elite guard defender in Zo. Not picking up pace when defense can turn into transition? Zo pitches the ball ahead. No lie, missing Zo makes all the other little things work worse. Also, we saw how AC and Zo were doing teams. Sure we didn't beat the best teams but does anyone honestly think that would have stayed the same if we had our guys and didnt get hit by the covid and injury bug last year?
That said, I don't have answers but I am on a break from this team. If they flat out showed no glipse of brilliance, I would be easy going. They show elite cohesion (this is not hyperbole) at times and 3 minutes later its gone again. WTF????
As someone that watched 5 years of Billy Donovan at OKC, it was an absolute miserable experience. He is the guy that refused to play Jerami Grant and kept old arse Melo in the game. HE SUCKS.

Change how you defend the pick and roll! Trap and excite help defense. Every play seems like a drive and kick and one extra pass for open three.
Sign/trade for a old school pick and roll point guard. We need drive and kick with off the ball movement.
D.Terry should be given a chance to play I don’t care if it’s only 10mins but not just garbage time. I feel he will be a nice spark and solid defender
Trade Vuc for a defensive rebounding minded center. Start Dragic. Run more offense thru P. Will. Give Drummond and DJJ more minutes off the bench.
P Will should be playing almost 40 minutes a night. Terry should be getting more tick. This Coaching sucks geesh

Agreed on all points. I said since before the start of the season Dragic should start games and the 3rd quarter even if not playing starter minutes, exactly. But he had a great summer playing Euro ball and was ready to go. Ayo and AC are fine but its a second year guy and a back up. They're good to fill in games for starters when need be but alone cannot carry us all the way we need to go. Dragic been a bonafide NBA and Euro ball starter. He should have gotten the starts from game one so everyone else could relax and settle into their natural roles while Dragic established an offensive system. Billy is awful. Agreed on more touches for PW, Ayo, Coby. Should have happened from game one. In the clutch and crunch time. To develop them they need to be given that pressure and challenge to overcome. Win or lose. Trust them until they come through. Go with "the sure thing" all the time and it becomes the predictable thing. 11-18 is the result. Billy is awful. Defense? We're 24th in the league and sinking. We either need to develop a defensive philosophy and system THIS team can execute or clear out some bench fluff and bring in some hard nose, tough minded defenders to toss into the rotation. Rim protector, perimeter guys, whatever. We need a couple of real dogs. As you say if we're not going to play D we have to score points. Oh we score points, predictable as they are. 126 last game, 120 a couple games before that. And suffered arguably our two worst losses of the season. We literally looked like a college team out there on D at times last game. Guys just blowing right by us going straight to the cup. Billy is awful. Lastly, ownership. It sucks and not getting off the hook. To win it takes top down leadership and willingness. This ownership group shows none. The city and Bulls fans deserve better for supporting this team year after year. At the end of the day we're paying for something, a product. Like paying for a sandwich. You pay for a good sandwich you expect the best one within reason and not one slapped together without care on stale bread with moldy cheese and day old meat. Fans invest money, time and our hearts into the Bulls to feel good about WINNING and being proud to support the team and displaying our merch. But it means nothing if ownership doesn't invest in WINNING. And this ownership group doesn't. How can they sleep well at night not even trying to win? Extending Billy? Financially strapping AKME in the off season. They're losers. We are losing from the top down. And thats a shame and scandal.
totally agree. But like you said, it makes no sense: not playing Dragic as starter or Drummond through the games to be at least a bit able to rebound something.
2 mistakes: Extending Donovan & Lavine. Nuff said about that. Fixes: 1) Can't win with a HUGE Rebounding disparity. Assign someone to rebound every trip and the rest of the D has to cover. 2) Attack the basket create presence in the paint. Feed Vuch inside. He is nearly automatic, has good hands and fears no one; but he needs rebounding support. Ayo brings the ball up the floor and 90% of the time passes back to someone. He is quicker than most. Teams should fear him crashing the paint. PWill must become a mangler going to the basket. Needs more touches. Look at the way Ju Randle plays. 3) Compete! When the other team scores we have to score. By hook or by crook. Get fouled, get Physical! 4) Split up Lavine and Derozen most of the time. They don't jell. Don't know what to do together. No hunger. All this is why Donovan needs to go because doesn't want to play this style of Basketball. Thats why he has one soo many Championships. :^0
This team has been struggling since last Jan. The Bulls in the playoffs last April was an embarrassment for Bulls fans. Now they sit 7 gms under .500. IT AIN'T WORKING. It's time to trade Zach LaVine. Trade him because he's in the way of progress. Ayo, Coby, and DT need more playing time and Zach's mins is taking away time on the court for the young players.
Play Marko? Move Debo to the corner, shorter 3, iso every play. Puts Paw up top where he is alot better and can use his size. Switch starts at PG?
We are pathetic. Everyone hates each other. Zero defense. Season is over. Blow it up. Keep Patrick Ayo Zach Dalen and Lonzo if he gets healthy.
Nothing matters if they don’t play defense and fight for each other. That has left this team. It’s going to be very hard to regain it
