Jalen Duren And Isaiah Stewart Have Been Awesome Together In The Detroit Pistons Frontcourt

Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart have been starting together for the last five games, and the results have been absolutely stark. The Detroit Pistons went from being dominated on the glass and in the paint, to winning both battles and fusing perfectly together.

  1. Duren and Stew fit so well together. Next year when Cade comes back, with our young cores growth, a Lottery Pick, Cap Space, and Troy as our GM, LOOK OUT NBA. We will not be in the Lottery again for a very long time.

  2. Aaaaand yet another game where nobody could crack 30mpg. Doesn't matter how good Ivey, Stewart, Duren, etc play. Casey refuses to play them 30-35pmg like a normal starter. Casey is JUST NOW starting to do things that I said should happen week 2 or 3. He takes far too long implement obvious changes and has destroyed Bey's development. Next moves should obviously be trading Bojan, starting Bey again, and giving the young starting 5 30-35mpg. We likely won't see that until the last week of the season thanks to Casey.

  3. I'll say Casey was wrong.. Only because WERE STILL LOSING THESE GAMES… If we were winning I would say great call… BUT if we're still losing when he takes him out then what's the point… It's not like who he's subbing in is leading us to victory..

  4. It's gonna be tough for kill to get the ten rebounds especially now with Duren out there and stew fighting for every defensive rebound. I think that's only thing that stops him from getting a trip dub

  5. Starting Duren alongside Stew was a no brainer for most of us logical Pistons fans it’s sad it took Casey and the rest this long to realize it smh…Let’s be real we’ve started every other rookie even if they weren’t ready (Hayes) now we get Duren whose the most physically ready of all our players and didn’t start him makes no sense! Stew is the same age as Hayes so just like y’all baby Hayes and give him the longest leash to develop extend that same grace to Stew he’s been literally asked to do the most out of that draft class and I think he’s shown the most overall improvement this year!

  6. Dwayne Casey electing to play through Bojan and Burks jacking 3’s is killing this team and destroying our young guys confidence smh…Ivey and Bey may not be great shooters but they have unique skill sets that if you highlight them they can dominate the game as Ivey was doing most of the game getting into the lane…Unfortunately that’s not the way Casey wants to play he doesn’t set Ivey up with enough easy drives to the lane nor does he emphasize pushing the fastbreak and it’s been hurting Iveys impact on the game having him stuck on the 3pt line…We know what Burks and Bojan bring to the table as well as other teams that would likely trade for them there’s no need in playing them in crunch time risking injury when we should be developing our young talent!!

  7. Bojan has always been a 2 or 3 through his career but for some reason Pistons fans think he’s KD lmao hope y’all see there’s levels to this!! I need to see more consistency form Killian closing games before I label him a closer right now Killian is benefiting from teams not game planning for him sagging and allowing him to get his, once he makes the next step and starts commanding double and triple teams throughout the game how will he play down the stretch? He has looked decent though he’s somewhere between Tyus Jones and Jrue Holiday being fair.

  8. To be fair everybody on the team has been having defensive mistakes and Casey does nothing smh Ivey seems bored and disinterested in this Casey offense and Casey doesn’t know how to use him he wants shooters out there so Ivey gets to sit the bench thts the truth!!

  9. It seems like when someone on the floor is playing really well thats the time Casey will sub that guy out. Just doesnt make sense. He does this more specially with killian and jaden and burks also.

  10. Ku, if you remember…I have been saying this since the beginning of the season…and you didn't agree with me… .

  11. Running the offense through Bogey doesn't work. Casey will change it up and run through Cade when he's healthy, and that will work. If Killian can become even more consistent at scoring, then maybe Casey will realize that he should close with him rather than Bogey… but next year this won't be an issue and the Pistons will be so much better.
