Maybe if he started playing defense we would improve. Nah, he’s rather whine about getting benched after going 1-14 while DeMar scores 40+

  2. LaVine has played badly this year — significantly worse than he played the last three years, and even last year was down from the year before due to injuries. He’s very far from the player he was in 2020-21, his peak.

At the beginning of the season people gave him the benefit of the doubt because he was coming off an injury, but now it’s fair to wonder if he has a chronic problem that isn’t going away. If so, I don’t know what the Bulls can do about it. He’s on the first year of a five year contract.

I suppose if LaVine isn’t getting better one possibility is to trade everyone you can and rebuild. That would be a bitter pill to swallow, obviously, especially in a year where the Bulls only get to draft a player if they have a top four pick. But the trade deadline is on the horizon and a lot of teams are eyeing the 11-18 Bulls.

  3. This is the most prototypical Klutch client move. Sign big deal. Spend every waking minute of that season trying to tear down the organization that paid you so you can go play background dancer for Lebron. Adios Zach, enjoy being Bron’s fall guy after the first round exit.

I know his kid won’t remember the magic game, but the stare he gave Billy as he walked towards the bench will be burned in my mind. Mfer you had a bad game get over it

Either him or Demar gotta go, ideally including Vuc. Get complementary pieces in return that mesh well with the remaining one, give Pat a bigger role and just give it a shot. I think it’s the better move than completely blowing it up.

  6. Yeah I’ve been getting that vibe. Ever since he’s gotten the contract his attitude has been shitty and he just doesn’t seem like he wants to play

What an absolute shitshow. Ready for the next iteration of the Bulls at this point.

  8. I-N_Clined

That’s probably why they’ll been playing so badly. There is some disfunction.

I knew it. Sensed this vibe awhile back. DeMar was used to dropping 25-30 ppg and getting a lot of touches. Zach said “nah, Im that guy”. Give me the rock more. DeMar with less touches. Zach not getting the 25-30 ppg… what a fucking mess. Truth be told, DeMar should keep getting the touches because he is producing. But there is definitely issues and its draining the whole team… sad

The audacity of this dude to say this shit with the way he has played this season. If you can get literally anything for him at the deadline, do it.

  11. TallAdministration94

Lol play good and then you can be upset with the situation

“You have to max Zach otherwise you’ll lose him for nothing.”

What if I told you that not having Zach Lavine on your team is something?

LaVine can go, I can’t get over how he reacted to being benched, you had an awful game get over it you crybaby. I will be sad to see Demar go but he’s probably desperately wanting to be on a contending team.

He cried about wanting a big extension, gets it, then cries about getting something else while putting up his worst shooting percentages of his career outside of his rookie and injury shortened season? The dude needs to look in the mirror if he wants to know what the problem is.

This guy is just not good at basketball. Al he can do is score. Hes a huge liability on defense and the guy is just not a winner. One trip to the playoffs and he couldn’t score enough in em. He can put up a lot of points when the games dont matter. But he just isnt good enough to lead a team in to the playoffs let alone win in them.

The team wins more games when hes out of the line up. We’ve all noticed it. No zach no problem. Zach comes back and we go on a minni loosing streak. It’s a patern. Almost every time.

Ship this bum out before he loose any more of his value and starts to get a shitty attitude.

That contract is going to be a disaster

  17. BretHitmanHart84

Man did this franchise go south REAL quick

  18. illyxpink

I just hate that DeMar is probly not gonna be here much longer at all. I really really liked him on this team despite everything. He became my second favorite player so quick once he joined and I hate to see him go but he deserves better

  19. Otherwise_String2105

Let’s not forget that Shams is represented by Klutch & Lavine is a Klutch client. It’s just another example of talent agencies using reporters as PR agents. I think we all know that Lavine has been ass this year

  20. rainytreeday

We’re turning into the laughing stock of the league. So much hope when we originally got a new front office.

  21. wreckedoblivion

Okay but what does Zach even get us back in a trade? That contract looks bad right now and I couldn’t imagine any team giving up serious capital for him.

  22. d_e_l_u_x_e

He wants to be the #1 guy because of that max extension but he doesn’t mix well with DeMar and DeMar is a better, consistent scorer so Zach is feeling like 2nd fiddle. He thinks he’s Dame and wants to be the guy but Dame doesn’t go 1-14 in a pro game after signing a max deal. The dude is having a crisis of his own creation.

  23. Rshackleford22

No shit. He gets so selfish at the end of games.
