The Cavs will definitely be a title contender this year because of their depth and variety throughout the team. Cleveland has become the beneficiary of the Donavan Mitchell trade. Donovon has fit in perfectly and was exactly what Cleveland needed last season. We could expect the Cavs to have a deep playoff run but the team Milwaukee may beat them in a 7 game series because of their experience alone. With that said, the Cavs with their young core and the rise of Donovan will win the championship in the very new future.
The Cavaliers are a title contenders in my opinion. They basically have 3 all star caliber players in Garland, Mitchell, and Allen plus a solid young player in Mobley, and underrated role players in Dean Wade, Osman, and Love. The Cavs roster have solid depth and star caliber players and that is always a good start in being a championship contender. Levert is also a big part of this team as a shot creating scoring spark plug for this team. Lastly, the addition of Mitchell gives them additional closer in close games. This will really help them in their playoff run because every great team needs an ice cold closer and I consider Donovan as a great option in those situations. This Cavs team really excited me!
I'm just so happy for Mr. Mitchell. How happy he must be playing with a big man who understands the game.
Do I think they are yes I think at the moment they are contenders and can give many teams fits. They are incredibly versatile and have everything you need to win a championship with guys like Mobley, Allen, garland, and mitchell. Along with great role players such as one of the best sixth man in kevin love and caris Levert. They pieces are there but why do I not think they will contend. Because they will not get past Milwaukee honestly I don’t think I could see them winning a series with a healthy Boston team. So can they be absolutely it’s just a matter of if they can beat these teams.
The Cleveland Cavaliers will be a title contender this season. Defense wins championships and the Cavaliers currently have the best defensive rating in the league. They have two of the best backcourt players in the league in Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland. Both can create offense for themselves as well as most importantly, creating offense for their teammates as they have both been great playmakers this season averaging 4.4 and 8 assists respectively. They have one of the best defensive big-man tandems as Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley are 1st and 4th in defensive rating this season. The Cavaliers also have so many great role players who know their role and can also step into bigger roles when needed. Caris LeVert is capable of going for 30 on any given night. They have a plethora of wings being Cedi Osman, Isaac Okoro, Lamar Stevens, and one of the most underrated players in the league, Dean Wade. Robin Lopez is a serviceable big and Kevin Love is shooting 50% from three on 5 attempts a game. The Cavaliers will reportedly get Ricky Rubio back in the lineup by February 2023 which will strengthen their backcourt depth alongside Raul Neto. The Cavaliers are currently 3rd in the East and if they can make it through the playoffs without any major injuries then they are bound to make a deep playoff run and can certainly make it to the Finals.
Why not a title contender? A team that talented can go on a run.
I think they are most definitely a contender a team playing that well and has so many talented players is definitely a contending team, they’ve got alot of the tools needed to win a chip on lock like a strong team spirit and culture as well as great role players buying into their role and young players that are rapidly developing.
Bro your tie is excessive as a cavs fan u don't gotta use our lord name in vein thanks bro go cavs! D mitch n garland are 🔥 but what about Mobley next tim Duncan and jarred Allen we lit
I think they're just a year or so away. The team has handled the rebuild phenomenally and they're gonna continue to have success. A lot of these guys are also young and clearly have a lot of improvement to make in playing with each other, which is actually really encouraging.
But addressing the wing (either by one of the guys developing in-house or through acquisition) is going to determine a lot. Feels like that spot is too big a question rn for them to go all the way, but if/when they do they'll have very few discernable weaknesses.
Cavs are the next Dinasty too many weapons, that not only have skills, but know their rolls and compliment each other and they actually enjoy playing with each other … they're like a bunch of neighborhood friends that's been playing park ball with each other since elementary school
Hassan over Robin .. IT over Neto .. upgrades that could be huge imo
As a Cavs fan I don’t think they are there just yet, Cavs still struggle a lot on the road and even at home they’ve had too many games that shouldn’t have been as close as they are. There’s definitely so much more time to grow though and sooner or later I believe this team will be the most dominant in the NBA.
