The Lakers in 2020 and 2021 had a few weaknesses, but trading for Russ was a huge risk that burned us badly. He wasnāt good enough for how much we gave up and overall has been downright bad. There are issues beyond him, but for what we gave up, he shouldāve been able to deliver in spite of all that.

One of my favorite laker role players of the past decade. He played his ass off every night. Such a smart defender and great shooter, and played bigger than he was. Him and Caruso will always be laker legends.

His defense against Lillard, Harden, and Murray in the bubble was solid. Rondo was unconscious but KCP was a vital piece in our title run.
