The good thing about the offense with these defensive guys is that they are also the smartest guys on the team, who not only know their role perfectly, they also know what to do in the flow of the game. We always marvel (well you guys do) at jokic+murray 2 man game, but guys! it's Jokis, he can make anyone look like a top offensive player…he ran p&r with AG/BB/CB and it worked

I think this showed how Murray's attitude and overall low energy was bringing the whole team down, especially on defense. I love the guy and I know he has a huge heart for the game, he just has to show it and everything will fall into place. We insert an energy guy with defense and look what happens..

This was an amazing win, however. It leaves a few questions for the rest of the season and for next year especially. The only way we're gonna win big in the playoffs is surrounding jokic with as much defense as possible, but realistically, our defense simply is never going to be elite in the playoffs with Jamal, mpj and jokic on the court together, and while that is still a lot of offensive fire power, and ideally it would be enough to simply out gun everyone, if our shots don't fall will Malone have the balls to play a lineup like tonight's with jokic and 4 defenders? And next year, will he play our promising rookies on the bench over vets?
