Nick’s point about Jokic is so hilariously because it’s correct and structurally it holds up no matter what you think. Let’s say you agree with Nick that Jokic winning back to back MVPs does not make sense, then that means you would probably believe the MVP award needs a re-working. Let’s say you disagree and you think Jokic did deserve the 2 MVPs, well then this year he would have to deserve it because he’s playing WAY better than he did the last 2, winning 3 MVPs in a row would be unheard of and almost certainly won’t happen, so Jokic not winning a 3rd despite having a career year would also mean that, yes, the MVP award needs a re-working. Either way, the award loses its merit.
Gianni’s is one everything after that is debatable
Sabonis and Fox should be a lot higher. sabonis the most 20-20 this season and has more than the rest of the league COMBINED. Fox is the most clutch player in the league and have them lower than players who are putting less numbers with worse records. Funny how how theyere talking about clutch and game winners when Fox is currently has hit the most this season. Halibitter is too high. If he can get in for his overrated assists how is a guy who has 20-20 stat lines not ahead of him. Halibitter isn't hitting game winners, isn't clutch and can't create his own shot.
