The problem is the coach .coach silas should make all his young player accountable for defense .look at memphis ever since they hire jenkins they are rebuilding but it took them 1 year before they make playoff coz he is defensive coach

I would just say coaching is the most to blame. You have to work with what you have. I don’t believe it’s the front office choice to start Eric Gordon. I believe that’s a coaches decision. Granted I’m fan that not looking for wins but progress instead.

Why is this even a relevant topic? Seriously he’s not coming back nor do we want him back. He quit on us. Lookin like Santa Claus his last season here.
From the front office perspective, the goal is to not win as many games as possible and maybe make the play in. Its very clear what the goal has been the past couple of a years and not having a real PG is a 4D chess move to guarantee the rockets a desired placement in the standings and the draft.
So I don’t fault the front office for sitting John Wall or committing to KPJ as PG for a few years.
Make no mistake, KPJ will not be the PG next year because the rockets will actually be trying to win.
Although, I believe one criticism that is fair is that stone held on to EG for too long. We won’t truly know until we see the return.
Also yes, the Fernando deal this past offseason was puzzling.

Harden is a good player but but his exit to Houston wasn't great, him having a homecoming sounds good but we did so much just to have these players on the team to develop and most aren't even there yet its still an on-going process with in the franchise trying to resolve their own issues inside. I wouldn't mind him back but we have to take the account of minutes, role, and salary. could we use the money to get harden back in or can we use it to sign young talent getting ready to get out of their rookie contracts.
