Unless we also bring back Caruso, I’m good

DeRozan doesn’t address any of the Lakers needs. He’s a wing without the 3 or D. The Bulls better be attaching draft compensation if they’re merely salary dumping.

His contract is also large enough that retaining Walker is probably not possible.

  3. Demar would be such a bad trade. It doesnt solve any of this team’s issues.

Ideal trade would be DeRozan Caruso and another role player and then flip DeRozan to a third team for even more role players and lakers will be in great position

If we can get Caruso too somehow then hell yea

Lol y’all hype up Caruso way too much.
I appreciated his hustle and the way he played last year, but Austin reaves is so much better, the lakers do not need Caruso back.

  7. I really like the DeMar pairing with AD. Check out their shot charts this season:

    1. [DeMar](https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/demar-derozan-shot-chart-this-season)
    2. [AD](https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/anthony-davis-shot-chart-this-season)

Now consider that DeMar is among the highest volume pick and roll handlers in the NBA and only second in efficiency to Donovan Mitchell. You can see how running the pnr down the middle with these two will work.

With how much attention AD draws rolling into the paint, DeMar will absolutely cook at the elbow and at the top of the key. He’s also one of the best 1 on 1 players in the NBA. And anyone who has watched DeMar knows that the Bulls set pretty high picks for him with success despite him not being a reliable 3 pt shooter. For whatever reason, the moment he steps inside the 3 pt line he’s automatic.
