edit – adding my thoughts: I don’t watch enough of other teams to have any heavy opiniated thoughts on these trade talks, but OG and Siakam are the names that I see that are being brought up, so I figured everyone else here would be interested in this excerpt.
Got me pissed when they said we’d have to include Grant, Hart and Sharpe to get Siakam only for them to be rational and realize we’d be in a worse position by gutting our depth for one player.

Absolutely no way I give up Sharpe AND Grant for Siakam alone (and Nurk? Extra no then, we’d be gutting the roster at that point.). Maybe I’m crazy and don’t watch Siakam enough but feels like a side step move compared to the production we get from Grant. If we’re really going to do a roster gutting trade then I’d only be willing to do it for someone like KD personally.

There is no point making a trade that includes Grant.

The raptor we should be targeting that’s a lot more realistic is Boucher. Boucher and Grant in the front court is what you want if you’re gonna roll with Dame and Simons in the back court. Length and the ability to switch. Nobody is gonna agree but I would trade Hart for him. Their contracts are almost identical except Boucher has more control.

nah I’m good only trading away that many players if it’s for a young star not a near 30 year old all star who will regress soon.

Idk why Toronto would even want to move off siakam. He’s got 5 years left probably at an all star level, they have all their picks and promising young guys. If they fix their backcourt (vanvleet isn’t that guy), they can be really good.

Based on their suggestion our line up would be:
Dame / Simons / Trendon(i think) / Siakam / Nurkic (trading Sharpe, Grant, Hart)
bench – GP2, Justise, Eubanks, Keon, GB3, Badji, Jabari, JBJ, Nas (out)
-OR-
