Knicks still not a championship caliber team. But its great to see they are playing defense, are tenacious and have some good pieces in place for the future, but still need an elite player added to go to the next level.

RJ Barrett needs to continue slashing to the basket & post up. Julius Randle went through sleep deprivation last season I felt. Quentin Grimes puts pressure off RJ Barrett defensively as he can defend the best perimeter offensive player on the other team. Jalen Brunson puts pressure off Julius Randle ball handling wise. Both give RJ Barrett & Julius Randle more energy on the defensive side.

I believe OG Anunoby would be a good 3&D trade addition to the team as sixth man off the bench excellent perimeter defender and can switch onto bigs subbing out Barrett & Randle or Grimes . Toppin Fournier & Reddish are expendible bad defenders.
The Knicks young veteran and rookie guards made a big difference to the team. Tame Julius Randle. The Knicks started to win more games, also in the playoffs picture. Most importantly they score more points with tough defense.
I hate to see the Brooklyn Nets face the new improved Knicks in the playoffs, it will be "Wild" 😜 in NY.
