Boston Celtics 2022-2023 = same deficiency as last season. Too few exceptional 3-point shooters (that is to say with a high potential for success in terms of regularity), far too many defensive errors (especially at midrange level) in the zone and a bench that does not really not up to par. Between now and the next playoffs, management will have to move… while protecting its core (Brown, Tatum, Smart). No choice. Let's Go Celtics!
Celtics seem to be reverting to that iso offense that got them into trouble early last year. Even when Tatum or Brown — the primary culprits — score, everybody else is stagnant and watching. They moved the ball much better when they were winning games earlier in the season. And of course their defense was getting shredded by the Pacers. Haliburton had so many open 3s he must have thought he was at shoot around in warmups.
Halliburton, Talen Horton Tucker, Monte Morris, Brock Purdy, Breece Hall, David Montgomery, Alan Lazard… us Cyclones have been spoiled, we need to recognize.
What has happened to the Celtics? they can't beat anybody. I say it's their defense, they just try to outscore teams and play 0000 defense. I think this coach ain't going to last.
im mad but not worried. Rob and JT kept us in the game. This is why you needed to win early games to have time to adjust. Haliburton was god today, he made all the plays when he needed to today.
We were no longer the best team in the league after that warrior lost.. everything changed since then. Now my fellow Celtics fans can stop talking bout the championship and looking forward to the finals. If we don’t get more consistent production from everybody not named brodgan, Tatum or Brown(who hasn’t been good for a few games) then sorry to break it to ya banner 18 won’t be coming this year
One thing I appreciated Ime udoka for is that he would get on these guys when they play pathetic as a team.. Joe just brush it off, doesn’t call timeouts when we need one and says stuff like we were only bad in the first half like he’s a rookie but this isn’t a team for rookie level coaching. We need a leader not just for X’s and O’s again he’s young but damn it’s showing

So impressed with Chris Duarte right now coming back after an ankle injury producing good numbers for the Pacers.
