This Could Be The END Of The Toronto Raptors Season… | Raptors Vs Warriors Post Game Show

The Raptors continue their losing streak with a loss to a short-handed Golden State Warriors team with no Steph Curry or Andrew Wiggins. Another night that the Raptors struggled to do much on defence is the complete opposite of what we have come to expect from the Raptors in the last few years.

What is next for this team? Look to trade some players around and fix some holes? Or is it time to consider tanking for a good draft pick? Let me know what you would do in the comments below.

  1. I’ve been telling fans in person and online for week’s now that Nurse is part of the problem. His scheme’s on both end’s have been questionable this season. Sometime’s I watch the game’s and wonder if I’m watching Casey all over again. The random line up’s, not calling timeout’s until leads are gone. This team give’s up more 3 pointers than any team in the league. Anybody that drives the ball Nurse is sending a double and leaving the 3 point shooter’s wide open. How do you think Yuta made that side 3 smh the over helping on defense needs to stop. Nurse will leave a 3 point shooter open and send help for OG who is one of the best defenders in the league. How do you think Yuta made that wide open 3 ? Over helping on defence.

  2. This team looks so lost as a group on the court. Time for a coaching change and a new philosophy with a fresh coach. His style of play isn’t working. No half court offense at all. Now the team defence is just awful! Coach has to go.

  3. We have so many players that have good value that our “rebuild” won’t be very long if this bullshit keeps up which is very very very likely. Siakam for young talent / some firsts, Gary Trent who is being very sought after, OG who I wouldn’t trade but has very good trade value, and Fred who will get calls for.

  4. @jacob gramegna what does masai do if the raptors lose all 6 games coming up and end up 10 games under 500 starting january 2023?

  5. There is something off with the motivation of the team. Also Koloko should be playing for the 905

  6. Football is soccer, what footbalk are you talking? This isnwhy canada and usbwill never win fifa world cup because ppl like you call them football something else

  7. The raptors need to trade Gary Trent Jr to shake up the team. The only problem we won’t get fair trade because Trent Jr is struggling but we can’t let him walk as he opts out and get nothing for him. But we also can’t leave the team as Is because the team is playing like 💩.

  8. I hope the front office has a plan for this underperforming Raptors because they will not win 47 or 50 games this season. If they are lucky maybe 41 or 42 games is the most they can win and that is a play-in team. I mean December, January and the rest of the season are very tough game schedules. Also, the possibility that the Raptors will go on a long losing streak. Well, the team lack 3-point shooting, mid-range, shot-creators, perimeter defence and rim protection. So many flaws and deficiencies that the Raptors will not win many games. The only option is a full rebuild unless the front office addresses all the issues. If they do nothing the season will end early meaning out of the playoff picture or standings. I remember Masia said a play-in is not an option. In that case, the only option is full rebuild or contending. The front office has to pick one. So far the Raptors are doing a good job of being bad. The truth is the roster is not good enough and will not go far. Even if they wait until the end of January it will not work out in their favour because most games are against teams with winning records, better than the Raptors and some are top teams. Even if they make playoffs they will not have playoff success or pass the first round. The Raptors cannot afford losses piling up because this could turn ugly in a hurry unless the plan is tanking this season or foreseeable future to collect picks and develop younger players. Also, they cannot hope for the team to get healthy because the Raptors have always been prone to injury and that will not get better year after year. A prone injury team is always a prone injury team. Time is moving and sooner the front office has to make a decision. Either way, this team is not ready to win now or soon. The team construction is flawed and has many issues to address including coaching. Imagine since the end of the 2019 season the front office has not made any improvement in this roster construction. It is been 3 years and the front office continues to ignore or not address those issues because hoping their players will make a jump or improve. The only way to improve the team is to add and subtract players year after year. Well, the front office has not done both very well in those 3 years except drafting Barnes and time will tell if he becomes the player they expect him to be or if he becomes a bust or just a role player. Good luck! By the way, why is NN playing VV and Siakam for 40+ minutes every game and every season? These players will have a short career or career-ending injury. What a mess! This team is dysfunctional!

  9. It’s time to blow it up, reset, restart, new beginnings, had the opportunity for KD and fumbled

  10. the reality is if the raptors lose 2 more games and drop 6 games under 500 with their brutal schedule, they have a less than 1 percent chance of finishing higher than 6th. trading for a poeltl or myles turner which will cost alot including precious likely with 2 first round picks in a bidding war, is not gonna move the needle for this team getting past 1st round if they manage to squeek into playoffs.

if masai was that sure on this core of siakam and fred leading to be a contender to win the chip, he would have dealt barnes and og and picks. the reality is this core lead by siakam and fred are not close to being a contender.

if kd was on this team, it would not be close to being a contender for the chip and the managment saw that so they didnt do the trade.

ladies and gentlemen reality is we are in the victor sweepstakes. its why nurse is allowing siakam and fred to play 2 on 5 basically every game, perhaps to boost their value and tank at same time. its a stealth tank.

  11. Best suitable trades for raptors to complete rebuild:
    – Fred and siakam + 1-2 firsts unprotected for shai and Dort (both Canadians)
    – Trent Boucher + more + 1 first and 1 second for Myles turner

New starting lineup (Shai, Scottie , turner, Dort, OG) 🥶 Bench: Flynn, precious, Otto, Thad, dowtin … we try to keep our 2023 first if we can or trade along with all our other firsts if we have to make this

  12. Jordan Poole got a career high picking on Fred. Just like maxey did this year. These fast guards just love seeing Fred on the other side. Hes so slow and short

  13. If Adam Silver was to rig the lottery, this is the year😂😂send Wemby to Toronto!!! Send the best international prospect to the only international team in the league! this is the year Adam😂😂

  14. Yuta had 3 points against the pistons in 25 minutes. He doesn’t score much but he had 17 points against us. That says something. Every goes off against us, I wonder why

  15. A month and a half ago, this looked like a generational defence. I have to think that OG and Precious are the difference makers…

  16. Our starting pg is 5" 11 shoot first who takes 20 shots per game while shooting 37% fg. How we suppose to win with that ?

  17. Raptors have to stop letting players off with light injuries. Sore this and sore that. Precious with a sprained ankle, Otto with a hurt toe. Never seen such wishy washy crap. Time to earn your millions you part time players. This sitting unless you are 100% is bs. The only sport that comes close to basketball for foolish injury time is baseball.

  18. Raps halfcourt offense is one of the worst in the league statistically. So it's not even a question. Not sure how you see this offense as being "trending upwards".
